**The Official Ralph Lauren Polo Thread**

If anyone can direct me to a size L in the southwest beacon hoody it would be greatly appreciated.

Bloomingdales is having a big sale! They have an extra 20-40% off items across the store depending on what coupon you get your hands on. I've only been able to get the online code for the 40% which is BBQ use it when you check out for an extra 40% on your polo items. Can someone hook it up with the Instore barcode for the 40% coupon I know someone on here is holding out in it.
For those who can use the online code. Enjoy

Was watching the show Power and spotted Just Blaze's cameo.

400

Took advantage of Macy's this weekend and picked up some scribbles. Also found this bear hoodie floating around for like $30 something...
400

Macys sale was really good, the scribbles L/S rugby was $40 with that extra 20% off....the beacon shorts were $40 too!

Yup. A new 4th of July sale with the same discounts just started too. I'm hoping Dillard's is having something good this weekend while I'm in a city that has one.

gonna be on here tryna plug for the next week. the discount is also on this 25% sale right now! let me know..

get your shopping cart ready!

Dude is official and legit. Much appreciated. Smooth and easy transaction. Today is the last day for that extra 25% too so if anyone interested hit him up.

Definitely RIP to Bobby Womack. Dude had classics, since the days of playing guitar for Sam Cooke.

...Hit up Macys today - the sales were good and I was working all angles to find stuff. Paid around $400 for about $1200 worth of stuff total. May take a few things back for fit though, or may just make them available here. Couldn't find the Beacon shorts or the orange/green pesudo Stampede polo in XXL though. This week is gonna be busy, but I'd like to try to hit up some other Macys locations too see what else I can find.

Also never picked up the DS OG design Indian Head tee. Maybe I can find those items later in the week.

Multi-color scribble is also a great alternative match for the Alpine Rohe hat.

Was Macy's sale today only? I am looking for that Polo Bear Hoody

I think it should last through the weekend Fourth, if not the weekend.

The Bear hoodys are probably few and far between though - I only found two at 34th street. A small navy, which I grabbed for my wife, and a black martini size L, which I'll basically send to anybody in here for cost plus ship (if I didn't grab it, somebody else would)... or I'd gladly trade it for the Beacon shorts or Stampede polo in an XXL if somebody finds those at their local.

A huge "thank you" to all that have extended their discount s to the memebers here. It's great to see people working together.

Also, a "thank you" to the vintage collectors that have kept the energy moving with great conversation and information.

And Frank, thanks for the great previews.

This thread is getting better with time.

question:

does RL.com do price adjustments? i placed a order last week that came in yesterday with the 25% off and now its 30%.

Classic.

Jah lending Snoop pieces for the vid.

For all those that think this is just some fashion ish, this is how you know it's deeper. Snoop has a million people knocking down his door to style him, but if he wants to wear the Rasta stadium tank (there's a second version of that BTW), his stylists ain't going to be able to get him that.

When Rae needed a Beach for that shoot a few years ago. When Just Blaze wanted something - who do these people call? Not their stylists - they gotta reach out to the core!

And, that's one of the reasons this whole thing was/is a movement that's bigger than fashion - this was style building from the ground up, not the top down. Nobody "influential" told people that Polo is that brand, or that these were the pieces that mattered - the "streets" made those decisions for themselves. And, to this day, if a celeb/influencer/tastemaker wants to dip back into that water, they have to ask down the pipeline, not up the flagpole in order to hold what they need.

Hell, even sneakers used to have an element of that. Sure, star athletes wore stuff and endorsed the brand and stuff, but it wasn't Nike's idea to retro anything. That was demanded by the streets. And, when that word made it to the owners of a few stores in B-More, and those owners floated the crazy idea to Nike - BOOM, the retro was born; the AF1 was back.

All of this is a far cry from ASAP thingamabob turning out kids to buy kilts or whatever. Most everything now is all being influenced, very little influencing.
