**The Official Ralph Lauren Polo Thread**

quality is king, as well as fit.

I can't tell you how many times I'd see something that was an insta-cop, only to be let down because the cut was off.

if it doesn't fit right, all bets are off to begin with.

I'm slim, so maybe the fit thing isn't as heavily weighted for some of you, but for me, that and quality determine whether or not I'm making the purchase.

that said, a tailor goes a long way. 8)

is it safe to say that the 2014 fall collection is best in years?
I would agree in terms of the quantity of great pieces that were released. It's the most bears, patchwork, leather, and native inspired pieces that I can remember being released at one time. The opening of the first Polo Flagship store has everything to do with it.

There have been many seasons were the quality has been better, but that's what is sacrificed when brands grow.

^ I see your point, but for myself it's the quality that determines whether I buy an RL item or not. I'm looking at the materials, the construction, the weight, etc. If it's not a piece that meets the quality standard that RL set (real animal skins, coyote fur/lamb trim, truly knitted patterns, heavy duty zippers, heavy wool or cashmere) then I won't buy it no matter how low the price is.

A little OCD, yes. But if it has an RL label in it, I make sure I'm buying RL.

Not ocd but knowing how things connect. He started out correct so why at this stage in the game start dumbing it down. It's many pieces I had to pass on cause they were trash (quality wise) but that looks dope and that's a no go for me. I don't see to many pices stand the test of time like a lot of classic ones that's kept crisp. 25 + years..... na doubt it.

Ight, I need to stop. 6 jackets/coats I done bought this year & I'm out of closet space.

A couple more sweaters and I'm done. I'm glad RLX doesn't have any good cargos out cuz I like to stack those like it's going out of business.

I've been to the outlets in Detroit ,Frederick and DC in the past week And I went to Houston today. Each spot always seems to have something a little different grabbed this coat for my fiancé today

Reposting my original post with the 50% off guys. 4 days left. fLOurish.
There isn't a 3LT item the factory store has that I like that isn't in my closet now. Set for a while. Picked up a quilted jacket this past weekend at Katy Mills. Originally 269, instant price drop to 169 + 50% coupon= 89 dollars. Happy.

Not sure if posted yet....just stumbled upon it doing a google search. Goes active today until November 15 2014

I'm back at Woodbury Commons using the 50% off again. I plan to go to Jackson Outlet tomorrow. Hopefully they'll have different merchandise there. I already bought 2 down vests, 2 fleece vests and a camouflage jacket. Thinking of picking up a sweater or two.

That coupon was too clutch, repped. How often do they do that coupon? The 20-30% ones I've been getting are good, but it's only worth getting with the 50% off coupon.

50% off coupon is official, much appreciated. I'm finally giving polo brand jeans a try. Four pair at less than $20 each was too good to pass up.

If you can remember, how's the inventory looking at Woodbury and Jackson in reference to the duck sweater and the blue puffer vest? I'm trying to scoop those in a 2XL and will more than likely be stopping by Jackson tomorrow to see if I have any luck. Thanks in advance.

Question for anyone that can answer. Please don't kill me too bad. The 50% coupon says for one item of your choice for one

transaction only. For those who have used it, did you have to ring your stuff up in different transactions or did they apply the

discount to each item in a single transaction?

They had nothing at all in the duck sweater. In the blue and red puffer vests they had a full size runs of each vest and most likely more in the stock room because I was there on Saturday and today they seem to have more. They also had them in the Big and Tall section. Also I have seen that duck sweater but that was at Clinton Crossings in Connecticut.

I don't know what Jackson has since I plan to go there on Thursday. If you go tomorrow let us all know what inventory is like.
