So my deal for Red AF1 Highs (sz 8) with an NTer fell through cuz he "sold him to his boy, after he put cash in his face, and he'd rather sell to someone he knows than a stranger".

SMH.

Back to the drawing board. If anyone has any leads on any non-rear-cavity-intrusion prices/deals, please holla at ya mans. THANKS.
The search continues. Looking for anything under 3 or just fam prices?

Anywhere around there is fine...

Yeah but at least give a brutha a chance to match...

He had my number/info and all of that...

Could easily have been like "son is offering me $300 cash right now, can you beat that?"... and I at least have the option to offer up...

It was his boy supposedly, so who knows..

Nah I gotta say I hate that ish. Don't come to an agreement with me then come back and say "oh someone else offered" more. What happened to a man's word? We made a deal, son. Honor that or paint yourself a liar over a matter of $10.  I bought some SB8's a while back. Paid dude $750 shipped. He ends up taking my money through PayPal (per the agreement) and once the money is in his account, he tells me "oh someone offered me more" and I'm sitting there thinking that we just made a deal so I don't gaf what homie just said he'd give you, your shoes are sold. So I ended up filing a dispute on that MF'er to get my dough back since I don't deal with shady *** people. Kid shot himself in the foot.

I guess I'm a poor business person, but when I've struck a deal with someone, I consider the item gone and all negotiations over. I sold a set of the 2010 Infrared 6s and ended up letting them go for basically what I paid for them, despite getting an offer for 120 over that price right after I'd locked down the deal. I didn't try to beat up the guy that was buying from me for more money, I just accepted that I'd agreed to a deal and was going to stick to it.

I'm kind of old school when it comes to business agreements, if I agree to do the work for x, I'm not going to come back and hit you with y when it ends up taking me longer to do the work. I've been in my field for long enough to know how long a job will take me so an estimate from me will most likely be on the money 98% of the time, and when it's not I'll just eat the time to not lose a client.

Well, yeah, it obviously makes sense when you got repeat customers, but it is just a principle thing too. As a seller, you lose me the second you come back and say "ahhh gotta have more." No you don't, we made an agreement for x and I'm not paying x plus ANYTHING. If you come back and say I need 1 cent more I'll ask for my money back. If you won't give it to me (like the SB8 fool) I'll take it from you.

Money is to be made…

But if the deal has been locked down.. its a F8ckboy move to pull out for that extra dub...

In the online sneaker/supreme business it's not over until someone pays. If someone pays you and then you are still negotiating with others Thats no bueno but otherwise everything is fair game.

I sold a Red size 5 for 240$, another dude texts me later begging me to sell them to him, he offered 380$, still didn't take it

Regardless that's some ******** when it comes to your situation @B Fresco  , hopefully you'll find a pair for a good price

Dan that's EXACTLY what I told son.

Im an old school dude, and once you give me your word, we're locked in.

Since he copped from NDC, they weren't even in his possession yet.

I told him all I needed were tagged pics once he got em in and the deal was DONE.

We'd already agreed to the price via PP Invoice, so there was NO negotiating.

Basically he sold em to his "man" sight unseen. To me it was the principle of the matter.

The search continues.

I get that from the seller's point of view, the buyer can dip whenever (as this happens a LOT). Guy says "will you do $240?" seller comes back "yeah I can do that" then the buyer goes "ah well I don't have the dough, sorry" I get protecting yourself by leaving the product open for sale until someone pays. BUT when you both agree on terms, the dude's trying to pay you and you come back and say you were offered more, you are a clown. Even worse (like my situation) when the dude has already paid and you're holding his dough hostage for a couple extra bucks.

Yeah, I'm right with ya. I'll keep the eye out, hopefully no one else pulls the jig.

It's happened to me at least 4 times in the past two weeks
I feel where you're coming from and that's definitely wrong, but there are situations where two guys pay at the same time (happened to me before). You've gotta dub one of them. It cost me a negative feedback on eBay until next June :smh: (went with the pp guy instead of eBay, not doing that again).

Well, I know this is just a personal thing and there's no right or wrong but I never talk to 2 people at once regarding a deal. If you offer me $200 and I accept, I won't entertain offers from other people. Again, I get that it leaves you as the seller out of commission for a day or two whatever and if they don't pay, you get screwed out of that time. But I would rather not run into those situations and lose a couple of days. All personal preference, though.

That's a h*e a** move that that dude pulled on fresco...eff that guy forreal. I don't understand what's so hard about sticking to a price once you've agreed to it. My generation is terrible at that, but I guess dudes really need that extra $10 lmao. Same ish was presented to mwalker and he consulted me about it, and I told him to stick to the OG deal. Karma is a b**** and comes back...he stuck to his original deal and was instead blessed with slam dunks for retail the next day lol. It goes both way...should tell that dude who pulled a fast one on you to fly a kite and eat a glass sandwich with the dude he sold too.

So if you have 3 guys contact you at the same time you just respond to 1 and ignore the other two? It's not like I was doing the ol this guy offered me more skit. I just told two dudes my price, sent an invoice to one and right after he paid as I'm pressing cancel on the eBay listing the other dude cops. That's a freak occurrence that's out of my control. Nowadays in this sneaker/supreme market you gotta strike while the irons hot. Two days can cost you 100+, as shown with the af1s

Nah I'll talk to all 3 but if 1 of them agrees to terms with me I tell the other two I got a deal going with someone else. And I know 2 days on a hot release can mean the difference between $500 and $300 but I'm not a reseller and never cop to sell (actually have never done it). Not that it makes me high and mighty just saying that's not my style/game. I might sell kicks a few months or a year down the line if I don't use them/end up not liking them, so 2 days to me is just another 2 days.

BIG thank you to whoever sent me this! (Not pictured: black camp cap & hanes tee) :smokin

....and this past weekend was so hectic ,but I finally got my package out today.

My boy noticed FC was paying more Ca$h than his paid ebay customers… he was gonna hand them the axe for the extra benjis too

I don't think I ever have more than one person biting on what I'm getting rid of. In the years that I've been buying sneakers I've only gotten rid of like 11 pairs and always at prices that I felt were very competitive to what would be considered a STEAL.

I'll get people hitting me up after, but I usually price my stuff to the point where it'll be sold in a matter of hours instead of days.

I see where you're coming from, especially if you selling when the shoe didn't just release. At the end of the day business is business though so if someone does something dirty all you can do is not deal with em again

Happens to me all the time...

Well at least 3 times

Was Negotiating a Paypal deal… final after the Haggling process was done

I sent him a invoice - buyer waited like 15mins or so before paying

and BOOM!

ebay BIN price hit my phone - followed by Paypal message "Buyer has paid for Item time to ship"

I had to Refund the Paypal direct invoice

But I never take down a listing until they pay!

you snooze you lose!
