Nike Employee's

Congrats! So you had your training today? What things they make you learn or do?
They teach you about the history about  Nike and how it came about. They teach you product knowledge and how to explain all the technology in the shoe to the consumers

Hey Fam,

Im applying at my local outlet and I have a really stupid question. But ima ask anyways. You can only wear Nike when work at nike correct? Cant imagine a Nike Employee wearing asiscs or NB's haha but im just asking to make sure. Once again my apologizes for the foolish question but im genuinely curious. Thanks!

Btw grats on all that got jobs!

I would for sure wear Nikes. I believe they give you a shoe for 80 to start with too.
Makes sense!

Also, one more thing ( I really want this job haha) So a me and a buddy started doing some roshe customizing and actually made a little company out of it. With website, IG, facebook, etc. And we have been making decent money of it. Should I include that in my resume? Or would Nike not like that?

Sorry again if these are dumb questions. Ha thanks and Repd!

Sorry for the late response! Just saw this, hmmm I would maybe throw it in during an interview, and briefly put it in the resume; I don't know if you want to tell them you made money off of it though.

I wouldn't mention it at all

Hey guys, a long shot, but quick question for anyone whose been to WHQ.

Planning on going on a road trip up to Oregon with my family next week, and I was wondering how the process works.

According to some of my coaches, you need to tell them you're an employee and show your ID when trying to get on campus.

You can request a tour, and someone will guide you around certain places, but I'm not exactly sure where to ask or who to ask.

If anyone has had experience with this I'd really appreciate it

Applied for the new outlet in Bakersfield Ca. Got a phone interview then a two on two group interview, received a Hireright email the next day. I hope to find out by tomorrow (Friday) if I got the job because the scheduled training days are this Sunday and Monday. I just don't know how fast those background checks take.

You do not need to let anyone know that you're an employee or show any sort of ID. You are able to just walk on campus and roam around. Now when it comes to getting into the buildings you will need to know someone or setup some sort of tour. Last I heard tours weren't done though.....Or at least not done not too frequently nowadays. You can always just call and ask though.

were the questions in the group interview similar to the ones for the phone interview?

Pretty similar yeah. But with a lot more detail if you'd like. If you go on glass door website they will give you a pretty good idea of what to expect. I saw they might ask "what is your weakness" or "name a time you were asked to do something wrong" and they didn't and I'm super happy because I don't know how to answer those.

I got an email from HireRight telling me my background was complete. That was around 10 in the morning so I fully expected a call today from Nike. No call today. If I don't get a call Saturday and the training starts on Sunday I have to assume they went another way. Or they added training days. Idk. Waiting....

How long did it take for you to get  a call after you sent in you application?

does anybody know if Nike flies people out for interviews at Portland? I applied for a corporate position but I live in Georgia.

i don't think so, I also applied for Beaverton but, I am relocating to Portland so it isn't a big deal for me. Good luck though

I'm guessing due to the fact that it's a new store, nike decided to hire me as seasonal and not part time. Not exactly sure what that entails but I got the job. I waited until Tuesday to just go ahead and call and they told me the business. They seemed glad I called so that's something. Anyway. Nike employee here.

Almost everyone I know whose worked at NFS has started seasonal unless it was a management position. Just dont do anything that the company wouldnt approve of and you'll be transferred to PTU in no time.
