Been listening to SZA new project all weekend. Production is definitely silly but something seems a little off about the project as a whole.

"Green Mile" and Sweet November" though :smh: :pimp:

I stand by my current statement--- I do like that track with Isaiah though. I'll try and pick it back up tomorrow, but it was extremely "boring"
 
Tree of Life sounds like some earlier work from before Control System. I mess wit it but the song comes off as kind of corny

Ab-Soul is getting impatient, and threatens to leak his own album.

It's been three months since TDE's Ab-Soul confirmed he had turned over two projects to the label. Since that time, Soulo also confirmed he'd been working on another project, Longterm 3, however we've received no new updates on the albums he finished.

We did receive a leak three weeks ago, although it was unclear which project it's off, "Tree of Life." Nonetheless, it's obvious that Soul Brother #2 is getting impatient with the label antics, as he tweeted last night that he's itching to leak his own ****. We probably wouldn't mind.

Soulo (***) tweeted, "I'm this close to just leakin my **** like its a mixtape...." Hopefully this encourages Top Dawg to get the album roll out in motion, as it's safe to say we're all getting antsy for some new music from the lyrical Third Eye advocate.

For now, you can keep "Tree of Life" in rotation.

I think Ab tweeted that to start hype, he's not signed to interscope so there's no reason why he'd be held up
 
Don't just drop it. He needa' get paid off it somehow. He should just make viral music videos and go through an independent distributor at least.
 
Did anyone see SZA getting dragged on twitter? Apparently her freckles/hair are fake amongst other things she said about her past and someone said she was getting trains ran on her in 9th grade

I got this in my email over the weekend from TDE and didn't know if you guys had seen it yet. If its already been posted sorry for the Chris Broussard-ism. The one thing that kind of raises an eyebrow on this tracklist is the Ross feature. I'm very interested to hear how these to can come to a middle ground and make something nice. Kendrick Interlude...greatness shall ensue I'm sure. Nikki Jean & Lupe on the Album too!! This is going to be just what we need in this musical drought.
