hence creating a BRAND NEW original lane that was trailblazed by 80s babies....ya kiddies now got everything paved out for ya with cute lil signs and blog posts.

Here's the thing, they've always been around. Those are REAL hipster. What you see now are either hypesters or scenesters.

One is the mainstream, the other is the fake loud obnoxious "look at me I'm a hipster" type. It's really hard to explain. You want real hipsters, go to the Sacramento/Folsom area.

The thing that discredits some of the stuff ninjahood says is the fact that in his case, he's on the outside looking in just as much as a white middle-American NYC hipster transplant is.

In both cases, you have people with no real contact to the other group. Ninjahood has grown up with minimal contact with a "normal" white youth experience and the hipster has no knowledge of what being a black dominican in the heights is like.

So...who's really on the inside now?

"normal white youth experience"... now if that isn't da most generalized statement of this whole thread i dunno what is..so you mean to to me white people of all walks how life

went into Manhattan for the first time in a few months. Hipsters EVERYWHERE. I couldn't believe my eyes. This trend is definitely one of the worst in the past 10-15 years or so.
 
My brother is a hipster. But it's cool, he's doing his thing in the music scene in LA.

No mustache, but has an epic bowl cut.

Probably has numerous pairs of Doc Martins.
