Official Xbox 360 Post: For those who CARE, COD4 patch is now available

With walmart, you can't get money back, especially if you don't have a receipt. Just walk in, go to customer service, and be like hi, i got this as a gift, i want to get a different game.....and then you either

a) go get the other game and do a swap...

or

b) say oh the game i want is out of stock, can i just get a giftcard instead.

options a and b, work 100% of the time, i traded two games in for 130$ gift card and got GH3, an oil change, and some groceries, lol. Still got 3 games to trade in too. I think i'm gonna get naruto, mario galaxy for wii, and hold onto halo 3 till smash in feb.

Trixie said that when the game started, Moviesign led furtive penguin to an area of the map where he said he'd hidden an energy sword. Upon reaching the area, furtive penguin found multiple energy swords (and a slew of the game's other weapons), all laid out and carefully arranged to spell "Marry me?" She said yes. Trixie also posted a picture of Moviesign (presumably the Spartan on bended knee), capturing the virtual moment for all to see.

The couple has not set a date yet, joking that they want to wait and see when the next Halo game comes out to avoid any conflicts.

If you've read the latest issue of EGM, you've probably cried over the apparently silent death of an Xbox Live Arcade version of Rare and Nintendo's classic James Bond shooter for the Nintendo 64, GoldenEye 007. Quartermann's rumor mongering didn't elaborate much, butthere's definitely more to the story.
The GoldenEye port has been in development at Rare for several months, and was never intended as a remake. The XBLA version would have featured the samegraphics, maps and weapons from the N64 version, but with the crucial addition of online multiplayer over Xbox Live. Several characters wouldn't make thecut due to licensing issues with certain actors.

Unfortunately, the reason GoldenEye for XBLA died came down to money. Our source close to Rare said the conversion was a mere two months from completion,but Microsoft and Nintendo couldn't agree on the financial side of things. The point of contention, as our source puts it:would Nintendo receive a one-time fee for the rights to the game, or a continuing cut of the XBLA revenues? The latter seems to make sense for everyone, butapparently it wasn't that easy.
From what we're told, the best way to get this port back on track is to show Microsoft and Nintendo how badly youwant it. If it all comes down to money, show 'em that you want to give yours. As soon as we hear anything more, we'll let you know.
 
Went to Gamestop today and got my refund from my COD4 and just waiting till Tuesday for that Circuit City deal.

Are you running it through a router or through a modem directly?
KB8sandiego perhaps you could offersome insight. I am running an ethernet cable from my wireless router to the XBox. It seems as though I experience connection issues more than most and I waswondering if there is a better solution/set up to reduce the # of "Connection Interrupted" occurences when playing online.

I rarely ever get killed by the martyrdom but i get a ton of kills with it... I don't know why so many people die from it, just don't go standing on top of dead bodies when you kill somebody

It's not that great of a perk unless somebody isn't paying attention a lot.

for some reason, it expands way farther than just on the body area. so if you are fighting a bunch of guys up close, you will have to run for your life because you will get killed even if you arent standing on the body... its a +*$%*** joke...

word...that grenades blast radius is huge...ill be running after killing someone and that grrenade icon just doesnt disappear...its whack for someone like me- i like to get all my kills in close combat over camping/sniping...if the latter explains how you play then i can see how you wouldnt die from it like someone like me would...

I am more of a mid-range player.. I like my m-16 with the acog scope, and i get most of my kills from behind cover.. i'd hardly call it camping, i liketo move in tandem with a bunch of teammates and just clear space out...

But i'll admit I don't get in close a lot of the times - b/c even if you kill the one guy, you're out in the open then and probably going to getkilled anyways. There's a lot of things in this game that make it so you almost have to play a safe, from behind cover style of game to stay alive. I'm not a high killer either, i think 19 is my highest kill amount for a game ever, usually i'm around 10.. but i will rarely ever die more than 5times, too.. so i benefit the team.

nice. i stayed at level 55, i coulda prestiged it twice already. but you should try team hardcore. no Hud. more damage. plus headquarters is a fast way toget exp points. crazy fun. esp with friends that play good.
