I'm sorry to be the one to have to tell you. Ididn't like the news either.

What is up with all these PS3 dudes coming in here and dropping one liners? Got nothing else to play, ehmmm, excuse me, nothing else to talk about in that PS3 thread? Just leave us alone people, we don't want you here.

Definitely worth it. Many titles are now around $15... You can't beat those prices... Many titles are available too... Transformers, Batman Begins, The Matrix Trilogy, Bourne series, and others... There are also more movies still coming out from Universal and Paramount... That's a good 40-45% of all movies available from those two studios... I'm sure we haven't seen the last of HD DVD. You never know, some companies my go neutral or HD DVD exclusive again... Eff you Sony

I don't see how one is superior to the other... They both provide HD content, and both are stunning when setup correctly. The only thing I like that Blu-ray has is the scratch resistant coat... And it really isn't necessary unless you are an animal and don't know how to take care of discs. And they didn't back Blu-ray, they invented it...
Good point.
