Im very excited for these. I dont care how available they might be im still trying to line up first. I made my mind up and cant sleep on these. I havent had a pair of Air Jordan IV's since the black/grey 99 joints. The GMP was gonna be my first jordan purchase in 10 years but aint no way in hell im passing up on some IV's. They are so versatile and gonna hold me down until its nike boot weather. I like how that tongue sit up and that Jumpman Flight tag pops out from a mile away. The shoe stands out with shorts. It makes any jeans official. The IV's and the gold VI's are gonna be my fall 2012 signature beaters. Cant wait until saturday morning

Thinking the same thing. I'll try online at 5a.m. Saturday. This will be the first shoe I tried online to get since the white cement iv's. Just found out that both footlocker and foot action in my town are making me enter a drawing to get the chance to buy a pair if my ticket is drawn. If I wanted to do this I might as well sign up for twitter to RSVP at nt. Bunch of bs :smh:.
 
pics on the last page lookin real proper....and ill def take this leather over that stiff *** leather on the cements, 4 days :pimp:

These like the White Cements or the Militaries in terms of quality on the leather? My Militaries went back in the box after one wear...
 
had my mind set on passing i still have the "mars" in pretty good condition but now that i'm seeing these pics of the 2012's i'm really thinking about grabbing a pair but i told myself i'm not going to  but i like em so much better with out the mars logo i know it's not that big of a deal just looks cleaner with out it i think i gotta stay away from this thread so  i don't see no more pics so i can stick to my guns and pass

Its crazy but I think Ive come to a point where I cannot justify buying another "Bulls" cw Jordan lol.
 
Quality+Hype = Easy pass... Plus my Mars are in good shape..I'm done with Jordan's until December..I'll focus on other sneakers that are less expensive and still of good quality.

The first time you hold that lil girl it will hit you hard like MJ draining the last shot. :lol:

ongrats man, girls are a handful, she will definitely keep you on your toes. I've basically raised my 5 year old niece and it's a great feeling. Can't wait to have one of my own.

Here's to hoping that people pass on these for the GMPs. Gotta double up on these to help my boy out.

After seeing some different sizes in person and from some pics posted, I've noticed that smaller sizes(9.5 or lower) seem to have a pretty decent shape, while the bigger sizes seem to be bit off. Either way, I need these to be completely done with the 4s. Retirement from Jordan Brand is getting closer and closer. Time for the Kobes, Lebrons, KDs, and Nike retros to take all my money.
 
Scoped these at Bdga yesterday.  Looking very nice but not on my list for this year so I'll be passing.  Needa just invest in a ski mask n get all the jays I want :tongue:
 
The manager at the Footlocker near me took a "fresh" pair out of the back to show me yesterday. Besides the very plastic looking leather, the shoe he showed me already had a crease across the toe! He just took the shoe out of the box. This shoe had not been touched prior to him showing it to me and it was creased! On top of that, there was a flaw on the leather on the side of the shoe also. There was a spot in the middle of nowhere, where the "leather" is supposed to be smoothe and it was wrinkled. Even the manager thought they were awful.

Before seeing this pair in person, I was planning on buying these for sure.  Now, after seeing them... EASY pass.

Still have VNDS and DS pairs of the Mars IV's.  Those will do.

Those close up pics seem very "Fire Red" to me more than Varsity Red, and that's a really good thing.
 
^ I agree. In the pics via Sneakernews/Mita they definitely look more fire red than varsity red.
 
Although the red isn't as bright in person as those pics because of the lighting the red is much brighter than the typical varsity red.
 
I remember when the 06s came out and everyone complained about the quality, 6 years later the quality is even worse, I would rather just save my money for another shoe.
