The "DAMN I remember them!!!" Vintage Nike Thread!!!

I agree.  I wonder if they may be too big and bulky looking for people now a days?  I would rock them no doubt.  Also I seriously doubt they would put the pump system into the retroes if they made them which is weak IMO.  If they did it back then they should be able to do it now.
They are retroing the Air Force 180 highs but now they are calling them "mids" because they won't have the pump.

I think they could get sued by Reebok if they tried to put pumps back on unfortunately

Whoops sorry about that.  It wasn't until after I made it that I saw there may have been better options.  Well hopefully they can move it over.  If not I'll just have to make a new one.

1994 Nike Air Darwin Dennis Rodmans

Here's a crazy rare shoe that most people don't know about.  The Nike Ball Shoe from around 1984-85.  Too bad they were only available in youth sizes.  They are SICK!!!
I need those darwins in a 12 with a passion.

These are 1 of the first sneakers, I fell in love with, next to some odd British Knights and LA Gears, lol. Im almost 23 so that goes to show you how long I have LOVED sneakers, I remember searching for these in the first grade. I had to settle with some other nikes with a strap :-(

Yeah my friend said they are bringing the 180s back.  I didn't know there was an issue with Nike and Reebok about the pump.  I doubt they would have put the pump in anyway.  These shoes they make today are just cheap junk.

I don't think they have ever been retroed.  I've had several sneaker heads say they never even knew they existed.  These are from 1995 and I'm not sure if they had other colorways.   They have another model that I believe came before them called the Nike Air Street Defender.  I have a couple pairs of them too. I'll have to dig them up and snap some pics.

Primo456- great thread, the pics are appreciated
No problemo

I have a ton of stuff Nike and many other companies too but I don't think Nike would appreciate me posting the other brands.

1992 Solo Flights.  The box says the colorway is Black/Black Pacific Blue.  I wonder why they didn't mention the rattlesnake looking color.  Hmm...

How do you come across this stuff? Or just collected over the years? Your first post alone is just....

Killin anything I got! Teach me the way lol
Dedication and mostly luck to be honest.  A friend of mine clears out estates for a living.  Years back he cleared out an estate for a guy who did nothing but buy sneakers.  This mans house was filled top to bottom with sneakers of all kinds from Jordans to Ponys.  Roughly 9000 pairs all said and done.  I bought a lot of these kicks you see here from my friend.  Some I intend to keep and others I have up on ebay.

If there is something that you are looking for in particular I may be able to find it as my friend still has a garage and 2 storage bins filled with vintage kicks from that estate.  I've been helping him sell off some of them but it's a slow process as many of the older Nikes can't be worn because of that foam material they used.  They are known for cracking and falling apart.  Most people want to rock em not stock em.  I stock em.
