Been going back and forth with my career for about two months now. I just graduated in May, and I'm working in finance right now in a very-niche area. I make decent pay for someone my age, above the median. I didn't take the high-finance/investment banking route and for some reason I don't think my pay will steadily increase to my desired-level in what I feel is an appropriate amount of time. My goal was to get to X amount before age 30. I'm 23 and fairly close already.

I then had an idea to go to law school after one or two years of experience in this field, and then hopefully find a job on the legal side within this same niche area of finance. Spoke with a couple people that are attorneys in this practice area and they said that not many law students even know about that practice area, and as long as my grades were good I would have a shot. I'm stuck between making that move or just staying in this field and going to business school eventually. I feel lost.

She also had her daughter with her why couldn't she go get it
Wait was she being entitled, or were you just an unhelpful Jackass of a human being?
The post made her out to be entitled, asking a random stranger to go do something she could've done herself (or her daughter).

What's up with calling him an unhelpful Jackass though?

I didn't call him that, I asked, his answer will determine that. If it was a lady who had her hands full with groceries and a kid, who asked nicely but he just felt like not lending a hand, then that's what it is.

wrote her a pretty lengthy text message, i wasnt crazy or anything. i couldnt hold back any longer............no text or call yet today how it always is now, im not putting up with it anymore and then when i address it she turns it around and makes it seem like she loves me etc or i just need to understand and relax. like i said huge mind f*** because she does many things that shows she is caring. i think im making the right choice, if im wrong im wrong but doesnt matter because its always like this

got all my points across, sent and blocked contact right after. that was at 3pm, its all excuses and feels so phoney now regardless of all the talks because i get let down over and over its a cycle. im going cold turkery and sticking with it this time. my temper and thoughts are in check. love is lost on my behalf

Seems like the right thing to do bro

Update us if anything pops off tho

:nerd:

i got a phone call on house phone at 4:41 pm she didnt leave message

she also didnt call manic mutliple times in a row like usual, which is common if my phone goes straight to voice mail and she knows damn well im home

like i said it was lengthy but it wasnt rude at all and to the point and very adult mannered, even ended with i appreciated your time and effort this summer and ended with a broken heart emoji

nothing to dispute and maybe this is a sign of guilt she can admit to now and we can go our directions. made it clear i dont need to be her friend.

thans again NT fam with my vent and giving advice

This might be a very eventful evening for you. Good luck pimp.

Tomorrow, it'll be a different story. I give her 3 days MAX before she's trying to "talk about things". I mean, I hope it was that easy, but you know how some women are man.

Do not respond to her if she calls / texts / shows up in person.

Already thought of that, these were the last words from yesterday after talking.

Bruh... This is so similar to me. I'm 23, working in a niche financial company, and been debating law school in the near future or business school and trying to take that next step.

I've even set out an "X" amount I'd like to make by the time I'm 30, only difference is what I make now isn't really close

Al stay strong homie. Think you made the right move.

she already texting my sister about thanksgiving left overs all casual like and she called house more since

o boy

anyways other people talk about problems i wasnt tryna take spot light

Honestly im surprised you were still with her. I remember you mentioning you broke up with her maybe around 5 years ago. I think you were seeing another chick who was bi.

My family owns an apartment building and I overheard my little 13-yo cousin Skyping with her "boyfriend" when her parents were gone. She was talking pretty loudly and it didn't help her that our building's walls are thin.

Things she said to him:

- "What do I mean to you?"

- "I want us to stay together"

- "I wished on my birthday that we would stay together"

Back when I was 13yo, I was hiding from my strict Asian parents and climbing into my girl's window to get the yambs. My little cousin is like a baby sister to me, but she's an only child and her parents spoil her.

I'm 110% sure her parents do not know. She's been hiding it pretty well, but no one is sneakier than me. What do I do, NT fam?
