leather is exactly the same as the fire 5 i dont know what everybody expects in 2013. they aint gonna give bin quality on any mass release its cheaper to use variant quality so thats what we get. the so called leather is rock hard, stiff and thin thats how it compares to wht cement or any other new release

thats just sad.....the leather on the pics looked shiny as hell already....JB is a disgrace

Side note I don't understand why people call these early release pairs "fake." Call them b-grades, unauthorized, grey market, etc but if a shoe is made in the same factory with the same molds and materials by the same workers, it's the same product. Regardless of whether it was authorized to be made by Nike or an extra test production run. Fake denotes a tangible difference in quality and materials used. Fake is a shoe you see on cheap-jordansale.com for $59 where the shape is completely off, the leather is rubber, and the outsole has a sponge bob print on it. FYI i've never purchased an early release from these sites but you guys get me every time with the "fake" talk.

Will definitely be buying and am considering pre-ordering to avoid the mess.  I think this will be the most hyped release of the year out of all the 5's coming out.  And ya, I will NOT be wearing these with any Hornets gear b/c frankly the Hornets suck at life and everyone else will be bandwagoning that style already.

if it makes ya'll feel any better, I didn't pull the trigger on 190. But best believe, if I see a 140-160 there will be no hesitation had. City sole not responding to my tweets, #LAME. I'm pretty sure they'll come thru tho, I'll just be patient.


I gotta stay outta this thread tho, seeing people with pairs already is making me anxious.

I saw the Fire Red Vs a couple weeks ago and I agree
that the leather felt and looked a lot like the WC IV, which is not a good sign for the Grapes...
 
have the last run of 5s been running .5 big as well? only 5's i own are the '07 metallics and theyre tts for me.
