I have worn mine over 20x and still no cracks. I love the stiff leather. Dont se why it is a reason to complain. I didnt get a half size down since it was the 1st IV of the year and it still hasnt creased that bad. The Fire Red IVs came with more creases than my WCs have now.
Stiff vs soft leather is a personal preference, NOT a quality issue. I wish the Fire Reds came with that leather tbh. And if comfort truly bothered you, you would not get jordans in the first place. A pair of worn, snug Vs are the only truly comfortable pair in recent history (my opinion). Cant speak on last years IIIs since I missed out on them (I am hunting the two I want down tho)
If the average Jordan Brand shoe was Cav IV quality, there would be no reason to complain. Mine are still deadstock too, but come on, you can just tell. Besides that shoe has been nothing but praised on NT and that is a rarity.
And yes there is quality that is bad but you can't complain (like the recent Military IVs, they are not bad, they are just not good). Then there is quality so bad I think of burning down corporate headquarters in hopes that they get the message (Fire Reds). Im pretty sure everyone who complained about the FIre Reds wouldnt complain if it were Military IV quality, we'd say a few words of disappointment and then enjoy our shoe, as we know it could be much much worse.
