Who Remembers when Eastbay Magazine Sold Air Jordan Retros - Page 2

I never saw these but from reading your guys post I wish I would have gotten to see.

Those were the days. Bringin the new issue to school and talk about the new heat. Those days are long gone.

Now those were the days..

Remember when kats usto rob people eastbay packages out they door step? haha  nig#z was looking fly in free eastbay gear lol

Those were the good old days.  But now 2000 seems so long ago....

I remember gettin the book late, and still coppin weeks later with no probs.
Now, if u dont cop in the 1st min or so, u **** outa luck.
Its a ****** shame.

Half of the time, they were sold out when you would call to place an order.

this... used to look thru that catalog as if it were the bible though.

I think the question is, who was buying jordans when eastbay sold them.

I remember like early middle school, me and my mans would go thru the magazine and pick one thing from each page that we would want to cop.

Get those past dwellers.

I remember the Jordan Brand Magazine, I miss those magazines. My wife recycled them a few years back.

Oh yeah, I remeber those days!!! No waiting in line or waiting for midnight to order on line. Call them up, give them a style code and they would tell you they were out of them, but that you could place a back order. You could do that a month or more in advance. Did that for the XIs and the IIIs - mulitiple pairs too!!

Haha I remember taking the magazine to school to show off knowing good and well my mother wasn't going to buy me any of the kicks in there. It was just the love of sneakers that made me want to look at them and talk about them. Great memories.

LOL This! HAHA...And if/when Jordan die down, they will be back in the magazine. Its just pointless now because they sale out w/in 15 minutes.

Ya these were the days. I remember rushing home when I found out the new eastbay was in the mail so I could call and preorder (backorder) them. And on release day no internet, no camping, no serial calling.. The shoes were shipped. You never know how good you have it til it changes haha. Last kicks I got on eastbay back order was the white/columbia and white/red XI lows in 2001. Still remember both of them coming in the mail!

I would still cop almost everything on these pages!!! I prolly still have these mags stashed somewhere haha

i remember circling everything i wanted and going back to fill out the order form, and waiting hella long to get my ****.

no resellers, no hype, no problems.
