Best way to describe the bred cw is 8 V/3 on steroids.

The Hyperfuse overlay looks thin as hell compared to the IXs.

well this makes it apparent that Petrie put little of his own design in the shoe. He used the same exact hyperfuse pattern, moved the swoosh, and gave it a 360 bottom. How about we get a new designer for the 11. Someone with some originality.

Jason, I know you're reading this, but dude makes a valid point, design wise.

I love the design of the X, because it reminds me of the VIII's, and I LOVE the VIII's, but damn, if these don't look like any new design cues were driven into this product. It's a 8 v2.5. Not really a bad thing, I understand the tech is in the shoe, but the design looks minimal, if not reused.

Somebody from Nike IS reading this. I hope Jason holds another LIVE Q&A like he did with the IXs, I got questions, .

So far I'm not really feeling the X's like that.....the backwards swoosh is a hit or miss with most people , and it's a miss for me. It does have some elements of the 8 that I like, but I expected more of an "authentic" new look for this shoe since this IS the X...


The only colorway that's dope to me thus far is those gold swoosh Olympic joints, so here's hoping colorways save this model again like it did for the 9's...I do NOT wish to see rehashed color concepts again. Please come original Nike...if not truly with your design efforts..at least with some fresh new color schemes. Thank you~

Breds need some white in em, by the time they release let's hope for that. 315 for the cool colors this year? Pass. I'll take the Olympics without the gold swoosh if that's what i'm paying an extra 140-150 for.

I rally hope not.
It looks more like Nike took JP off the design, sat around a desk trying to figure out what design that should come up with. They couldn't think great, so they said to themseleves what shoe have we already done tha did not sell well at all. Let's take that shoe recycle it add a few "glits and glames" to it and try to push it to the public as a new design all over again.
Some raised their hand and said the "Darwin didn't sell to well. I'm sure the general public has totally forgotten about that shoes, let use it!"

They sit and think for 2 minutes. One of the top Nike suits stands up and says "Go Do It"

Guess since they knew the 8 was a dope model they wanted to rehash it so they know the X will be a sure hit. Can't be mad at them. Look at all the trash being talked about with the KD 5.

I thought the Darwins sold well. They had the lows and highs and I remember high schoolers wearing them in manhattan and queens.
The reverse swoosh is in my opinion. Best thing on the LBJ 10. Im still not copping these tho.

Wow, the breds are disgusting. Way too much red. I would have bought them if they had same amount of red as the Viii and IX. These are terrible.
