When dudes complain about a Christmas shoe being red....
The salt levels in this thread is unbelievable. Got corny *** shoe snobs. Dudes self esteem invested in exclusivity. Dudes reaching for the lol's. Fashion critics.
Thread is strictly info for me.
The ID thread is active because dudes just enjoy the shoe for what it is and/or what they can make it for themselves.

THIS

i am confused...

someone explain to me how you can like/love this shoe but hate the ID version of the same shoe. not flaming at all, its just not making sense in my head...

before I commit to buy..the NDC route is the way to go to get the peripherals right?
You're referring to Nike+ equipment right?

If so no, Eastbay had both Nike+ versions (enabled and Sports pack) of the Blue Diamonds on their site when they initially drop so you should expect the same for the Pressures as well.

I still don't really get why people want them to stop making the South Beach colorway but they never say anything about the Dunkmans which they have been making since the Nike Lebron 2 or even the Lebron China themed shoe which they've also been making since the second Lebron shoe I never hear anybody complaining about stop making them. I feel like that colorway has become apart of the Nike Lebron Legacy, and describes a paticular time in his career when he made a huge decession to leave Clevland and go to Miami, When it's all said in done Nike is just trying to make certain Lebrons we can identify with and anticpate the same way we do with Jordans that have countless colorways that repeat themselves over and over every year.

Very well said. I think Nike has actually done a great job of finding different inspiration to create Miami-themed kicks the last couple years. I've passed on most of them, but I appreciate the creativity.

Some guys may feel like the SB theme is played out, but it's not like there have been dozens of models released with that colour scheme over the years. It's actually still a fairly fresh scheme when you think about it.

And even if Nike does release something like that for the X in the spring, it's obviously not going to be a complete replica of the 8 SB. I think it's fair to say that most dudes who are doing a SB X ID, are doing so because they missed out on the 8 and don't feel like paying obscene prices for re-sale. And at the risk of sounding like a Swoosh-worshipper, I'm glad Nike has given us that option.

I'm personally not in love with the shoe but I like the Pressures and the Olympic colorways. I'm not into ID'ing any shoe.

is done w the x.  got the gold medals, fireberrys and blue diamonds.    shoe is more comfy than the 9   but the 9 have the better look to me and was way more affordable  imo.

8s are just tops imo. comfort and quality.

4wrestling I think bought the 2hunnid version and got the + equipment.

thx mcstrokin,
just curious, what makes you dislike ID on any shoe, not just the Lebron?
No prob rawdawg. Well for me at least, I just don't view it as a legit shoe in the sense of collecting. It's pretty much worthless. I also don't like that you aren't given total creative control of designing the shoes color scheme. They limit the options to much for my taste. For example take the South Beach ID, it's extremely bland if you ask me. The South Beach 8 and 9 dookie all over that ID. I just don't see the value in giving them extra money for something they won't let me have complete control over. It's my shoe so why can't I color it they way I facking want to?

I bought the 200 version too, and I DID NOT get the + equipment. It even says on the box "Nike + Sport Kit Sold Seperately." Someone did say they got the kit when they ordered the $200 version, maybe some people got lucky.

I actually ordered 2 pairs of the Blue Diamonds, but the $200 version.  The pair from Eastbay did not have the Sport Kit.  The pair from NDC did include the sport kit.  So yes, I did just get lucky I guess.

thx again mcstrokin...very valid stance on that issue.

if you look at the X release as a whole, you will see that nike was really scrambling around with the prices and the sport kit/+ enabled thing.

it is very possible for the badging to be wrong on the box or get a set of hardware stuffed into the wrong box. or maybe an employee that isnt knowledgeable regarding the situation to pull that order and fill it with a sport kit.

very possible
