I mess with wzrd

Strongly disliked indicud

Hate this new joint which I had zero expectations for

*plays A Kid Named Cudi

Cudi will always have a strong fanbase...the brilliance of his early works are timeless and many people including myself will always be a fans of his because of it.

When talking about his albums, MOTM1 is definitely the best to me. The way it was sequenced together, the uncertainty within Scott upon releasing his first album was what really made it a classic...it had perfect transitions from "nightmare" sequences until the eternal message of his album being encompassed with "pursuit of happiness" which ended the album perfectly. I think it is his best work because of the candid emotion he displayed in it, he really poured his heart out into that album and let it all out there whether we loved it or not...he told his story.

People loved and embraced it. And as he became more and more successful, and as his experiences changed, one would expect his mindset to change as well. People need to understand that the dude literally became a rockstar. Thus, you had projects like WZRD and the majority of Indicud sprout based off an entirely  reinfluenced Scott. The way I enjoyed WZRD and Indicud most was to put myself in his shoes, to be the man himself, and then listen to those jams from that angle. It was some rockstar ish forreal, you just gotta soak where he was at the time.

But to the average listener they were def something different from his other albums, and production wise they werent the best either. I probably enjoyed half of the jams on Indicud, and thats it. Same with WZRD.

Satellite Flight is a decent album for me. There were only 3 great songs in there..."Internal Bleeding" "TBIHTDYN" and "In My Dreams 2015"...In My Dreams 2015 being my favorite, due to the fact of how it compares and builds on from the original in MOTM 1. There are no lyrics this time, just a beautiful melody with almost dreamlike and reflective qualities within it.

Whenever I hear it I cant help but think about how Cudi literally made his dreams come true you know? Its just crazy how he moved from Ohio and worked at Abercrombie and Fitch in SoHo, and ended up slowly becoming the superstar he is today...his grind was unbelievable. So that jam just made me think about his journey and the work he's put in to finally make those dreams a reality and live through them.

You guys will probably think i'm overreacting, but Cudi is literally one of the only people I look up to...his music helps me immensely

im prolly the only dude in the world that loved WZRD
live & learn :smokin :smokin :smokin

i take no offense to cudi's career
i think he's progressed, and because of that [and if he continues on that path] ill always be a fan

"Indicud" was way better than "Man on the Moon II".
"Indicud" was epic and arena/stadium music.

What? Really? I'll admit I enjoyed Indicud when it released. and Just What I Am is one of my favorite Cudi songs, but to say it was better than MOTM2?!?!

I can see where some would be turned off from MOTM2 just because of the tone of the album, but from production value alone it's >>>> Indicud. I did really enjoy some of the beats Cudi came up with, but dude should not produce.

And of course MOTM1 and a Kid Named Cudi >>>>>>

Hell has frozen over, I agree with DG.

I like MOTM2 a lot but through most of the album Cudi sounded like he wanted to hang himself. I like when artist talk about **** they're going through but that album had thinking this dude needed some help. Indicud was exactly what I wanted to hear from Cudi.

The Resurrection of Scott Mescudi
Just What I Am
King Wizard
Immortal

Those are some classic Cudi records to me.

Red Eye was easily my favorite song last year and Young Lady stays in rotation.

AKNC

MOTM II
Toss up: Indicud/MOTM
Satellite Flight
WZRD

I love WZRD fwiw...

Already puttin broads onto "Balmain Jeans", every time they hear this joint they're gonna think about me lol #Mastermind
