People thought that dark stuff on MOTM2 was too dark, I loved it as I was going through things at the time. The stretch of songs from Maniac to Trapped in My Mind may be his best sequence of songs back to back of any project. The feels and the production are untouched.

I am somewhat happy with the outcome of this album.

It reminds me of his early days (minus the auto-tune)...

I still need a few more spins to drop a final verdict
 
Gave Satellite Flight a good listening to today, gotta admit I'm feeling this.
Wish he would put some lyrics over all the instrumentals, but over all was pretty good.

after multiple listens, i can honestly say i like it. production is aces.

you get the feel that this should be the soundtrack to movie.

I can see where some would be turned off from MOTM2 just because of the tone of the album, but from production value alone it's >>>> Indicud. I did really enjoy some of the beats Cudi came up with, but dude should not produce.

I respect that. "Indicud" was surprisingly ill. I was taken back.

I like MOTM2 a lot but through most of the album Cudi sounded like he wanted to hang himself. I like when artist talk about **** they're going through but that album had thinking this dude needed some help. Indicud was exactly what I wanted to hear from Cudi.

project turned out dope... it feels very cinematic :smokin this was a nice pickup from indicud & it leads perfectly into MOTM3. the album really does a good job of capturing that space feel, as well. every track that he lays down vocals on, i enjoyed... my only complaint is that while the instrumental only tracks go with the flow of the album, i feel like there's too many of them & not enough tracks with him actually performing on. this makes the album feel a lot shorter. they have such MOTM-esque titles too, they had so much potential for cudi to go in on. overall, i really mess with the project though.

-when he dropped going to the ceremony awhile back, i couldn't rock with it. in the flow of the album though, i appreciate it a lot more. i always catch myself singing his humming / harmonizing part very obnoxiously :lol:
-satellite flight is still that jam
-balmain jeans... WOW :wow: :wow: :pimp: easily my favorite cut off the album. raphael saadiq coming through with the clutch vocals as well
-scott talking that **** on too bad i have to destroy you :smokin
-internal bleeding & troubled boy... those dark tracks are always appreciated
-my world reference on troubled boy :nerd: 8)
 
Spun through it a lot today and gotta say I love this project, some classic Scott Mescudi. I can't stop singing Balmain Jeans :x I needed this in my life. Other noteables are Troubled Boy and Internal Bleeding but I gotta say my favorite from the project is Too Bad I Have To Destroy You, I resonate so much with that song so much. Well done Scotty :pimp:
 
I'm loving this album a ton balmain jeans is my jam. TBIHTDY is awesome also. Even the instrumentals I enjoy even when I thought I wouldn't. It's just good to hear some new cudder I suppose
