It may be wishful thinking but I think that MOTM3 is going to be great. I think that the fact that he is bringing back the Man on the Moon theme is a sign that it'll be that kind of sound. I just don't think he would go back to that motif if he was going to give us some Indicud/WZRD type vibe. Idk, am I far off base here?

I've been with Cudder since AKNC and really started listening when motm dropped and I love his old music (motm 1/2 being my favorites), but after hearing this, Cudi done bro's. This is trash.
 
Ok this song is meh...will give it some time to grow on me. But i still have hope...he did recently release this

when did he say he wrote this?

I have hope MOTM3 is going to be dope. He's said all these in between projects have been projects that he wanted to pursue in a different sound.
what we should be worried about is how long its going to take for MOTM3 or if its even going to be released.

He might be like i don't like the way it sounds like DRE did and not release it.
Its been 5 years since MOTM2
 


New Cudi... Not saying its good but I don't think its garbage, hes just experimenting with new energy. I'm cool with that, but it doesn't seem like he is fully committing himself to that energy, this could of been orchestrated and sonically mastered way better. 
 
I think he wants to be jimi, but is trapped in the urban market.. lol

I know art is subjective but this **** isn't art

Dawg wtf is up with Cudi? Dude is on some Bleach Nirvana type ****. At least go for the damn Nevermind or In Utero album styles smh. Both those songs he just released are weak :smh:
 
I thought all this rock stuff was over after WZRD and Satellite Flight. He started to get back on track with Indicud, but yeah Man on The Moon Cudi might be gone.
 
Cudi's been my favorite artist pretty much since he came into the scene. but I must admit, he's losing me now. Most of the material he's been putting out the past couple years has been disappointing. Now I'm not saying I'm opposed to him making rock music, cause I actually really enjoyed the WZRD album. But pretty much everything he's put out after WZRD I don't mess with, Including Indicud (outside of about 5 songs). Dude needs to stop trying to produce everything on his own and link back up with Plain Pat, Emile, Dot Da Genius, etc... and start making magic with them again.
