Up for sale is the pair of shoes mentioned in the title--2010 size 13 Cool Greys. I purchased these from eBay about a few months ago, and after wearing them once, I decided they're not up to par with the quality of shoes I normally wear.
The good:
*Cheap!
*Still very wearable, even moreso with pants (instead of shorts).
*A little TLC will do wonders for these--little suede cleaner, little SeaGlow, new laces...and you're back in business. I'm impatient.
*Little to no wear on the soles, no heel drag.
*Midsoles are still bright white.
The bad:
*The smell. The previous owner used some sort of cleaner to attempt to clean up the suede. I can't tell if it worked or not, but it left an 'industrial' cleaner smell on the suede. It's since diminished some, but still noticeable. Also, the inside of the shoes smell pretty bad once worn for a few hours. Not sure what the previous owner did while wearing these, but it's not a pleasant scent once they've warmed up. Things I've tried include airing out the insoles, shoe balls, and setting them in a box with an open box of baking soda. It's definitely helped, but both aforementioned smells haven't been completely negated.
*The heels are pretty saggy. Not sure if this is reversible or not.
*The 23 on the right shoe is starting to crack.
*No OG box or shoe trees. I will ship them in a size 13 Doc Martens box. The Jordan Brand boxes I have won't fit these side by side without the shoes leaning on each other.
*Heavy yellowing on the soles--not sure if this is curable with a good cleaning or if you'll need to SeaGlow them, but as I said above, I'm not patient at all when it comes to things like this.
So taking all that into consideration, I'm just trying to break (close to) even. I had $180 shipped in them, I'd be willing to take $160 shipped (OBO) for them.
