Assuming he hasn't had all three sets of shots since he's only eight weeks and it's standard to start puppy shots at 6 weeks, I advice you not to take your dog out in public. Also, if you have to take your puppy with you anywhere, never set him down until he's had all shots administered.

Can anyone tell what breed he is? I thought he was a boxer mix when I got him but as he's getting bigger he's looking more like American Bulldog or some type of Bull mastiff mix.

Yea he got all his shots and I still wouldn't let my girl put him down yet. She says I'm overprotective pshhhh.
 
Don't you guys love watching your puppy grow? At first they are so timid and helpless, but as they grow you see their "swagger" and confidence get established. It's just a fun experience.

Been waiting for someone to post a Shar Pei. My little guy is German Shepherd/Shar Pei mix and has the WORST attitude sometimes. Dude has a mind of his own and gives no dambs about what I say.

quick question, fambs...

for starters... i'm a 23 year old black man living solo... i want a dog... but i'm not into them big dogs, like rotts and pitbulls...

the thing is... me, being a 23 year old black man, that's the standard dog for my demographic...

i just want a lil bitty dope dog like the one of Frasier...

not all super gay and feminine... just a chill a__ dog that knows how to get me yambs...

i'm in dallas... can i get a little dog and not look weak?

But anyway, to answer your question... I think since you're black, but don't want a big dog... probably get yourself a english bulldog!

When they're a puppy, they're cute and get you the yambs... and since you're black, it'll still fit your culture! :tongue:

I think you buy whatever dog you like, **** what other people think. I gotta friend that's in the gym all the time and his dog is smaller than his calf. It's kind of funny but it's cool. That's his dog and there's nothing wrong with that.

I've been trying to adopt a Cane Corso for almost a year now but the ones at the shelters have bad Temperaments. Those dogs are too big to not be able to control
