Did his product under Jordan sell? He just doesnt seem that marketable of a guy to me.good for LiNing,,now the question is WHO's gonna buy that product???

Ain't that sure, but I would think that his sales didn't do worse that what Melo and CP3 did. Technically, the only thing that fuels Jordan Brand these days would be the retro line, so re-signing or in this case not re-signing Wade wouldn't really matter.
As far as Wade being marketable, I think he is. I think if he wound up directly under Nike back in '03, it would've been a different story.

D wade had a good shoe to play in jordan (but the shoe was ugly)
Now, he will still have a good shoe to play because Li-Ning are making very good basketball shoes (it will surely be ugly, but ugly to ugly so no big deal)
Now for the + :
- More money for sure.
- Real face of a company (you cannot be the face of Jordan, because the only face there is Jordan)
- China's popularity (Big market, getting commercial contract and all.... more fame and more money)
- The chance to maybe raise this brand to be a big one here

I heard from somewhere dwade said li nings were a lot more comfortable, but if he's getting paid out i guess anything is more comfortable lol

Wade shouldve known his JB stint would be short lived, he wanted JB, JB didnt want him. He had to ask twice before the took him up on his offer.
To me this guy is going to turn into the new KG, a straight sneaker nomad just wondering around to every shoe company crazy enough to give him 7 figures

I respect D. Wade for leaving JB. During the NBA lockout MJ sided with David Stern and let Stern use him like puppet to get the players to make a deal in the owners favor. MJ turned his back on the NBA players and basiclly ate all the words and spitted on everything he worked hard to get as a player. During the 98 lockout Jordan was saying the same stuff the players were saying in 2012. Alot of NBA players lost alot of respect for MJ during the lockout. I feel the choice he made to leave JB had a little to do with MJ during the lockout. I feel alot of players are going to leave JB after their contract is up in the future. I am hoping this is the first step in the crumble of JB. I think In 5 years in the NBA there wont be any players wearing jordans. Melo and Paul next. I cant wait to see a jordanless league!

D Wade isn't popular enough to sell sneakers. He couldn't sell Converse or his Jordan line up. He's not going to sell Li Ning's either. It's just more money in his pocket.

His Converse line did exceptionally well, as that is why Jordan Brand wanted him, as well as Nike, then even making it a big deal when he signed.

The numbers were posted by Counterkicks, actual sales numbers from back when Wade was signed with Converse, do you know what those are? Actual FACTS? They, are used as a part of the reality outside of Nike Talk, away from the distortion where people such as yourself are only concerned on how sneakers look on feet with jeans or cargo's.On what planet do you live where they were wearing Wade's Converse sneakers?

Just FYI with regard to D Wade selling Converse kicks...
They did ok.. but not well enough for Converse to care when Jordan scooped him up.
As everyone has stated sort of... Wade can sell kicks.. but the kick designs havent helped. With Converse they tried... but were extremely limited.. and with Jordan you thought it was going to get better but it really didnt.
I think Wade should be one of those guys to wear straight up Nike Basketball kicks which help push THAT line and not his own line.
As its also been said before Jordan Athletes would do more to push the entire line wearing PE Jordans than their own BUT Team Jordans DO sell well. VERY well and some just dont realize that.
However when I say Team Jordans.. I dont mean Team Signature players.. they just do ok..
