Rock, I've noticed that too over the years working retail - the jumpoffs actually do better than the Jordan player sigs.

Being owned by NIKE, Converse could not put up a legitimate fight, outside of the farce suggesting that they could or even should have. Nike wanted Wade under their umbrella, and nothing was going to stop them from getting him. If he could move shoes without any advertising as he did with Converse, it was thought that with a company supporting him like that of Nike, that he'd be able to push more units.

I'm asking you to support your FACTS. They were on Counterkicks how well his Converse sneakers did, so it should be easy to find.

You provided no info, only unsupported opinion masquerading as facts

all D Wade needed was marketing....Lebron hired a Marketing guy and see where he is at now...that's the problem who care's about the Converse or JB both didn't do enough job to Market Wade that's why he's another Kevin Garnett that will just jump from one company to another...i wouldnt be surprise if he makes his own brand that will sell to payless shoe stores...Like Shaq and Starbury hehehhe
 
good for him. jordan brand/nike werent doing crap for him. i liked his converse kicks. nike should have kept him there. it is absolutely ridiculous that nike is using their nike tech in converse shoes now but werent for him when he was on the brand unless he had like customized zoom player editions no one knew about..

its cray how they are using flywire on converse now...

and actually baron davis li ning shoes were actually good shoes to ball in. and the design wasnt too bad either.

no seriously the li nings i have are comfortable but a bit snug.

also i believe the wade 1 and 2 were dope and people actually bought those because they were reasonably priced.

the wade 3 however was horrible looking and were clunky. they hit rock bottom prices.

reminds me of adidas and their terrible regression with The Kobe line. The Kobe 1 was an all time classic and everyone had um. The 2 was an abomination that looked like a toaster and smelled like fish. And we all know the unreleased kobe 3 that looked like the penis mobile from the snl shorts starring ace and gary :lol:
 
can u imagine how much jordans will go for once they are no longer produced (if JB goes out of business) which seems rediculous cuz reebok is still around and fila and all other brands that dont do amazing

Jordanless league. They just signed 4 rookies including number 2 overall Kidd-Gilchrist.

No more jordan player shoes such as melo and cp3, maybe.... just maybe

def good come-up for LiNing, not sure about DWade tho, but i mean his jordan shoes were ugly as ****, cant wait to see what lining have in store.

Jordan Brand needs superstar caliber players to sell shoes. I, too, would like to see the end of JB.
 
Well, for those of you who are wishing for the end of Jordan Brand, are really hoping for the end of Nike as well.

Without JB, Nike is done.

I like the fact that Jordan has Nike by the balls.

the only shoe that i saw sell really well were the Wade I's, especially the Wade I playoff editions. Haha kids are still looking for those kicks. To be honest those were pretty clean imo.
 
The Wade shoes weren't bad at all. Every hypebeast just likes to cop the numbered Jordans. These are very solid BASKETBALL shoes.

You don't have to be a hypebeast to want sneaks that look and perform good. I think JB hasn't made good sneaks since the early days. I liked those JB sneaks like the Vin Bakers, Moss 1st sneaks, EJ's. Now they straight up making dog crap with great peformance. Most of us wouldn't talk to an unattractive girl with a nice personality same with these sneaks JB trying to push out nowadays.
