Li-Ning Thread

There's so much wrong with this post. I really wanted to make a real response, but can only shake my head
Seems like you know little about sneakers and basketball

Please enlighten me..... The only point I was trying to prove is Nike is the choice brand for the top NBA players. I copied the list off of a site and just used it to show that the top 15 players according to Hoopshype only 2 wear JB. Alot of people think Nike is dependent on JB when I personally think Nike would be better off without JB. Whats wrong with that Magic?

You must be on some good stuff to think that Nike would be better off without JB.

For those saying that he left JB because his shoes "looked like garbage", might wanna retract your statements. Those Li-Nings are horrible. They looks like Lugz. Every shoe he wore with JB were 10X better looking.

2. Kobe Bryant (Nike)
3. Dwight Howard (Adidas)
4. Dwyane Wade (Li Ning)
5. Kevin Durant (Nike)
6. Derrick Rose (Adidas)
7. Carmelo Anthony (JB)
8. Chris Paul (JB)
9. Kevin Love (Nike)
10. Blake Griffin (Nike)
11. Dirk Nowitzki (Nike)
12. Deron Williams (Nike)
13. Lamarcus Aldridge (Nike)
14. Russell Westbrook (Nike or adidas?)
15. Amare Stoudemire (Nike)
I dont know how JB has Nike by the balls? Nike has 9 out of the top 15.
I know a jordanless league probally wont happen soon, but when there isnt a top 25 NBA player in the league wearing JB, they will offically be dead in my book.
Its only so long before retros get played out...
JB loves using the allstar game to promote their sneakers. They better hope Melo and Paul make it LMAO
You do realize that there are actual sneaker sales reports available, right? Jordan has them by the balls... I swear, the sheer ignorance...

Still, no current player at this weekend’s NBA All-Star Game comes close to matching his sway as a pitchman. Not LeBron. And not Jeremy Lin. “There will never be another Jordan,” says Matt Powell, an analyst for marketing firm SportsOneSource Group.of   Nike-owned Brand Jordan has close to a 70 percent share of the basketball shoe market, with annual shoe and clothing sales  more than $1 billion, he says.

I understand where you guys are coming from, but understand my comment about being better off without JB is not meant to be taken as if JB never was created. Its more on the logic that all that money would be spent on the Lebron, kobe, and nike bball line if JB wasnt available. I understand all the money is going to Nike anyway. To be honest im just real tired of JB and get pissed when you know that thier company owns the basketball market but cuts corners.Trust me I understand that JB is a money making monster and probably wont ever stop.

but to get back on topic, those d. wades shoes kinda reminds me of the lebron 2. The lacing system looks interesting.

Throw some black laces on those and they'd be more pleasant to look at than all the other JB Wade shoes IMO.

These are his new shoe? This things look like some Playskool kicks from Toys R Us. Didn't Baron Davis have on a pair of Li-Ning's when he blew his knee apart last year???

man...talk about lack of breathability. They don't look like there's a lot of room to breathe in those at all.

Let's not go down this road...this has been discussed excessively in other threads. These kicks are rough...let's leave it there.

I don't mind them. They kinda remind me of the first offerings by K1X, the Chiefglider.

Looks like Li-Ning recycled Wade's first Jordan Brand logo as well:

First Jordan Brand Wade logo:

Li-Ning Wade Logo:

just wanted to see something

700

I don't understand the purpose of the big triangle on the side :smh:

That's the breathe ability

ehhh you guys are being too hard on the li ning wade. they remind me of lebron 2 lows.

interesting seeing how plain they are. Wade must have not wanted much logos on his shoe. if you look at the old baron davis li ning shoes and even the evan turner shoes, the sig logos and company logos are plastered everywhere.
