This. Performance-wise, I loved both the Fly Wade 1 & 2 as they're nearly identical. Both are solid shoes...
 
I can't see him leaving JB. As much as he idolized Jordan and all. Yes I'm sure $$$ talks but all they need to start doing is making not only his, but Melo (NY now) and CP (LA now) shoes a bit more appealing to the customers.I thought his were if you didn't put his name on them they would just be TEAM another shoe for JB. Hopefully Dwade and JB will allow fans make him a shoe like they did melo. the future sole (??) melos were nice.
 
Maybe he should after the interview he gave to eurosport yesterday stating that Kobe's the g.o.a.t , might hurt the big mans ego :lol:
 
Not a big deal. His shoes were rotting on shelves, might as well go get that $$$ where there's no pressure.

Should've just signed with Nike Basketball :smh:
 
he really shouldn't have got his own line. i don't mind the fly wades, they're heaps better than the cp and melo lines, but wade started featuring the 2010 (yeah, those red clown shoes). i reckon they should have kept him on the main sig line. although it is jordan brand, the main sig line needs an active player's face to it.

everyone saying these shoes are garbage, and haven't really worn them to play bball. I have the fly wade and it's honestly the best shoe I've played bball in since the huarache 2k4. These are better than the durants IMHO. Looks wise they don't give the same style/nostalgia that the numbered jordans do. Performance wise wade's shoes are great

KD IVs are terrible on-court shoes :lol: The FWs aren't even bad-looking, they're just very bland and uninspired.
 
He's my favorite player and Jordan is my favorite brand, so obviously I don't think he should leave. Unless it's to Nike and he gets his own sig, it'd be stupid to leave because he's basically the face of the brand, besides MJ himself. Plus I hate Li-Nig. If he gets a Nike sig and they look good, I'll buy every pair for sure.
 
Wade was better of rocking the non-retro Jordan sig shoes, than have his own JB sig.  This sounds like a ploy to gain leverage on his next sneaker contract.
 
Wade's line is wack but I dont think its his fault, besides retros everything JB puts out is kinda irrelevant. If I were him Id just stay with JB and go the Ray Allen route and wear dope PE's.

His sig shoes haven't gone better. I'm quite sure that even the other JB line up endorsers will follow soon.

Hope he stays with JB. I really liked the Wade and Wade 2 for playing ball. The aesthetics of the designs could use some work, but the performance is on point. I think the best course is to have him be the face of the 2013s and occasionally rock retros or team Js if they can't get better looks with the performance on a Wade 3.

I wonder if having Larry Miller back at JB will shift the focus of the brand back to the athletes and performance products. JB has been all over the place the last few years. If JB has a clear plan for Wade that includes great products, I can see him staying for slightly less money than Li Ning or another brand could offer.

It's gotta be more than looks of his shoes. I mean have you seen Li-Ning's? They're not exactly a breakthrough in design.
 
If he does leave it will be for a cash grab, whats does wade, steve nash and jason kidd have in common ?

They all went had messy divorces nash signed with a chinese shoe company but still wore nikes, kidd wore peaks for a few years, then he came back to nike

What better way to cut your loses sign with a no name shoe company get a lot of cash and u might not even have to wear their shoes during games.

Then come back to the swoosh like nothing never happen, sounds good to me
 
LiNing quality wise>JB

I aint even mad if Wade left. His sigs are not that impressive anyway.

all the JB lines are ugly...Melo, CP and DW. Not sure how the get away with putting out junk like that every year. All other areas of Nike are so good in design so it's kind of odd why JB designers suck so bad.
 
Not a fan of the wades or any other PE kicks from JB for the right price i'd cop so melo's but i think it a better move for him money wise, Dont know if kicks really sold like that.
