Good call on the Lebron 2 similarities. The shape, the rounded off sole, the toe box, even the thick, round laces. The only thing missing is the fat strap.

The same plastic garbage that Nike, JB, Adidas and Reebok are running on their 'performance' kicks. Kids today won't even know what it's like to wear actual leather based shoes.

I swear alot of you guys in here are puppets... if a swoosh was on the side of these, you'd probably be foaming at the mouth over these things.
You can tell there is a Jordan influence in the design. I think the W in laces is cool... nice way to add some visual flair. The black pair look nice, the red has a poor color scheme.
If these actually make it over here (unlikely) I may buy a pair, especially if they are comfortable. I doubt they will be 130 over here if you find em.... Probably more like 60-80.

After looking at the LiNing website, I feel Wade is what makes these upcoming shoes have a Jordan influence. I really like some of the shoes they have there... they don't look like recycled **** like most of the Nikes hitting now. Some weird and outright strange designs.
That's refreshing, because Nike has in large part become lazy. Outside of their sig models, new styles are rare. When they hit, it's a GRAND SLAM in the bottom of the 9th, but the misses aren't even ugly, just boring. I hope to try on some of these Li Nings... anyone know any stores that ever carry them?

That's part of what makes them cool... The fact that it can be ugly. Wade's Jordan models are just.... boring. Melo's are average.
Visual flair is just that, and while I wish they had departed from the whole 'Jordan' look and feel, a cool comfortable shoe is just that. To me, for Dwayne, this is a step in the right direction. Hopefully , the Wade 2 will be more of a departure, something more individual.
That's the most disappointing thing about his shoes in the past.... for someone as weird with his dress and style, his shoe are boring to look at. I don't hate or love them. When something inspires hatred or love, that's great. When you don't feel any way about it, that's terrible.

I just had to comment... really? He's the second best player on a world champion team out of Miami, his Jersey was 6th in sales in the league this year... It's not Wade, it's boring shoes designs.
Not to mention he WILL sell shoes, maybe not here, but I guaran******gtee he will sell an *** load of shoes in China. Only better comeup for LiNing at this point would be Lebron Kobe or Jeremy Lin.

You do realize you're not god and thus your opinion is not fact right? Things have to take risks to come up with anything unique. you think they're ugly... But Dwayne Wade and a group of people way more studied in what sells and doesn't don't. Therefore your statement is asinine, they were not made ugly, they're just not your style.
Hell, how you keep downing these things I would think Wade and LiNing personally tag teamed on your puppy or something. These shoes aren't visually even that much of a departure from shoes already out there.
Your only dis on them has been the w in the laces and the triangle (which Nike has all over alot of their shoes too), other than that they look very Jordanesque and alot like the 3s, as someone said before.

Really though, you're entitled to your opinion, but you seem to have taken that my initial comment was pointed at you personally. It wasn't. If you hate these shoes the best thing you can do is not buy them.
I on the other hand tend to try things out first instead of staring at internet pics and judging something... Similar to how I passed on Lebron Cutting Jades, even tho "OMG Limited!" and instead bought the Blue Diamonds. From pics on the net, I thought they were the ****, in person my feelings changed.
