Man what's up with you? You're one to talk about copout lines, being that you tossed out "he must work for them" cuz I didnt agree with your opinion ( what you continue to state as if it's fact).

Something can take design cues and still be unique, versus those Fubus which try to look exactly like the Jordans. Typical small minded thinking... You can be inspired by something and still be unique.

Not to mention you've ignored intelligent part of convo,.and instead choose to be sensitive over being called a hater. As often as I see people down ****,.only to like it because.someone else likes it, or because its popular. Especially being that color schemes.are BIG. I Hate, the AJ9, its ugly and doesnt look like a basketball shoe... But I own two pair thanks to the color scheme.

Whatever tho. As I said before, do you little homie. You dont like what I do, and thats cool. I wouldnt care even if I knew you. People speak their opinion, and Ive never.cared as long as I like it. Sometimes I wear the most stylish shoes, and other times I wear shoes no 1 else would.

But nitpick away! Thats what the forum is here for.
 
There's one thing I can bet on, that DWade will get full freedom to design whatever he wants with Li-Ning.  And Li-Ning will have anything at his disposal.  I can see that they're going to give him anything he wants because to them, this is like when Lebron joined Nike. 
 
I actually think they're alright. Slap a Nike logo on it and a lot of you wouldn't be saying the same thing.

I'd like to see it succeed- I'm tired of Nike/JB having the 95% monopoly on the basketball market. It's good to see companies provide them competition; it will not only give us more choices but it will also force Nike/JB to up their quality and stay focused.

I would consider buying them for my future b-ball shoe sometime down the road (next year perhaps?). Obviously, depending on shoe reviews, how they look in person, etc.

wishful thinking on the price. im guessing they will be 99 to 110 range.

Maybe they will take off.... UnderArmour has had some success..... nothing wrong with standing out from the crowd... as long as it performs for Dwade...

Clearly his JB shoes didnt... lol...

Honestly bud, it would be great if Li Ning actually differentiated from Nike/JB by offering a performance sneaker that ran full grain leather. The problem with UA & Li Ning is that they are not only highly derivative of Nike/JB designs but they run the same damn Hyperfuse/Flywire and/or plastic sourced materials. At some stage there needs to be differentiation otherwise Nike/JB win each time simply because of their outstanding marketing and brand history/legacy.

i actually dont think those look half bad (except for the white colorway :x ) . I too would like to see these smaller brands have success and push the market. still would never cop though dwade is by far my least liked player in the league

look more like off court sneakers in the black colorway. Don't know anyone who would cop these but you never know.. I remember when everyone was rocking And 1 back in 99-00 when they came out with some ok kicks.
 
JB just posted that Russell Westbrook is now on JB, I think its a smart move he's young and very acrobatic!
 
I actually really like the white and red pair, I don't understand why everyone thinks they're so ugly. Pictures can say a lot of things, I bet things will be different when we actually see them in person and try them on. I bought the first Adidas Adizero Lights, you know the Derrick Rose signature shoe at an Adidas Outlet a few months ago and was shocked to learn how fcking narrow they fit. I normally wear a Nike size 10. I bought a size 10.5 and was shocked to learn just how to tight the shoe was. And for the record, the Adizero Lights aren't as light as it claims to be. I can only wear those sneakers without socks and Winter is coming up so I won't be wearing them at all in the next few week. My point is, while they may look a certain way, let's hold off all judgment until they actually hit stores. These actually look like they could be potentially comfortable to wear. Just in my opinion though. The fcking Adidas Adizero Lights though, those are terrible shoes.
