True. I actually liked the simple design of fuse version of the Wade 2s. They are very good basketball shoes on top of that. I really don't like the Li-Ning design and they just look too clunky/blocky to perform well. I agree some would view these different with a swoosh or jumpman on the side, but I just think the design sucks. Garbage is what comes to mind on these.

It's really too bad Wade has gotten some of the worst looking signatures of any marquee player in the last 10 years. Is this bad luck or does his shoe input and design taste just suck? Rumors say he can be difficult to work with. Maybe that's why his shoes don't turn out so well.
 
I would like to see other companies give Nike some competition as well. It is definitely needed.

Li Ning Wades do have some similarities close to The Nike LeBron 2's.

I didnt really care for these wades at first however they are starting to grow on me a bit now so when they are available...ill probably be purchasing them. As much as i love Nike i have to start experimenting with other brands. I think that alot of Li-Ning designs definitely have potential. With major work ethic and determination they may be able to catch up with Nike in the future. I actually like Evan Turners sneakers and i forgot to buy them lol.
 
Oh well..i caved in. Ordered one out of the 40 packs of the Way of Wade dynasty package yesterday. They continued to grow on me so i went for it.

Cant wait for them to come in, im probably the only one on NT that placed an order lol. Did anyone else enter the contest?
 
I'm not going to front, those white and gold way of the wade will be looked at for the right price, and that is lightyears ahead of what I have ever said about a JB wade sneaker.

On another note competition is always great for the consumer it would force Nike to rethink its crazy pricing model and shotty material usage... but we are a long way from ish getting real in the sneaker game on that level. But high profile players jumping ship is the first step.

Says alot about Jordan brand that they can't so anything with a player of D. Wade's caliber.
 
A guy that i talk with from time to time that works for Li Ning said to just look out on All Star Weekend for a colorway to drop. Im still waiting on my Way Of Wade Dynasty Pack.

Do you know at all how they plan to distribute in the US? even when Baron Davis was on Li Ning and they were pushing his sig hard I have never seen it on a retailers shelf.
 
I don't think these will make it to the shelves. Not a big enough market with what Nike's got going on right now, but hey who knows.

anyways they'll prob do wades release like evan turners, just release it in their store in Portland and then do an online release through their site
 
Not exactly, he is not giving out too much info about that however i am thinking that they are going to make his line as limited as possible for right now just to see what type of buzz they can create here in the US. Overseas they already have one.

Hey I really appreciate the reply. This Thread is mad slow. But I guess it will stay that way till one of us actually has these kicks in hand. I liked my Fly Wade 2 EV's alot. So I am really looking forward to picking these up as well.
