Oh. They're releasing the 2.5 Encores this month. The boat has sailed on those 1.5 Encores you just posted. You'll only find them for resale. Resale is around $400-500.

Yea I'm willing to pay that its just I'm having a hard time finding them for resale. Two guys on Ebay with a size 12 both agreed to a deal with me at different times and I thought I had finally done it, but they wanted to do it off Ebay. So obviously I wouldn't do that because the risk of not getting what I wanted and giving my info to a stranger wasn't worth it. One of the guys agreed and then his auction timed out, we had agreed to do the deal for 350 so i figured he would list them for that so i could get them. But he re-lists them for 400 again with no lower offer and hasn't returned my email. What should I make of that? All in all I'm desperate to get a pair of the original Gold Rush Encores and am having a very hard time doing it.

Bro if you pay through PayPal you're all square. eBay and PayPal are essentially the same company at this point. You're always protected if you pay through an invoice.

is correct, really aren't any fakes of Wade's going around. So if you trust this guys pics...Gotta loosen the reigns a bit. Highly sought after shoe with a high resell value that honestly hasn't gone down since release.

ohh really so if they ask to "send me your contact info and pp email and i will send you an invoice!" I shouldn't worry. The only thing that bothers me is they agreed to sell it to me that way for 375 but counter offered for 425 on Ebay. Why would they do that?

ebay will charge him 10% of the selling price on eBay, paypal will charge him the 4%.
Ifi you do through paypal, he can save on that 10% from ebay.

This right here bro...I do this on eBay/PayPal all the time. eBay KILLS you on fees so if I agree to a lesser price or free shipping I go through PayPal. But yeah you shouldn't worry...how the hell else are you supposed to pay this guy? As an avid seller on eBay as soon as a listing ends the seller gets your email and address regardless. So in this case you're merely bypassing the middle man.

They're not noticeably heavier on foot. Here are the exact weights, though. Both of these are size 8.5.

Its something about the originals look like they should be from the "Back To The Future" movie. Like an 80's take on a futuristic shoe and the new ones seem more modern 2014 styled. Also just curious why do the ones for sale say WADE on the tongue but the ones he wore don't.

I'm a Miami native and insane NBA/heat fan but have always been a casual collector. Gold rush 1.5 is my grail, favorite WoW release and what got me hooked on collecting wades. That being said the encore 2.5s got me to start selling all my JB. I think if you are new to the game and you came across this forum youre in luck: this line of sneakers is just starting to release serious heat throughout their entire line and one of the biggest releases by value will be the one off wayofwade that turnon is referring to. People are sleeping on these but they won't be forever: if I were you I'd cop encore 2.5s when they release off either sunlight station or wayowade. See if what I'm saying rings true to you and then go out and throw the 6 bills or whatever for the 1.5s because they beautiful.

It has been awhile since I sold anything and I was quick to notice how crazy Ebay fees are. It will be well worth selling a few things though, TONS of amazing WoW's that have released and even more still to come.
