ugh... They look worse than the other pics. Thankfully it should be a 1 and done on the 3. My wallet likes that
 
I like these a lot more now. I think that the upper needs to be one color. The two toned uppers from the leaked pics look odd to me.
 
I get the "W" thing they are going for...but the midsole looks lazy. I'm sure quality will be standard for the WoW but I am disappointed. Hoping some of the color ways impress.
 
It looks nice. Ditto with @bds120 if the quality is there that's the selling point. I'll wait for them to drop and decide then....in the meantime I see a bunch of people be having their GR 2.5 and my status still says "drop ship". Man they taking thier time on me. lol. anyone in the west coast get thier orders in?
 
I want to see how they do the core 4 (Overtowns, Announcements, 305s, and Warriors) in this model. We've seen what appears to be the Announcements earlier, but that may be a prototype/sample pair. Waiting to see a more finished product. Again, I think there is potential here for another good/great shoe. Looks like they went with a more aggressive herringbone traction on the outsole that shapes up with the 'W' theme as well.

Seems like an attempt at decoupling of the forefoot and heel, which is fine by me. Looking at a bigger shot of this shoe from the top view, looks like a tumbled leather right above the midsole and then that smooth, kind of sticky leather on the WoW 1.5 and WoW 2 Announcements.
 
The back was fine until the splatter upper was posted. I dunno that may grow on me. I'm liking the outsole traction pattern no doubt.

3.5 they are gonna add an external heel counter?

Anyone who has followed this line closely will recall the various concerns/complaints regarding traction from the 2.0. Seems they really took the feedback into consideration with the next generation. Hopefully we'll start to get some better pics and tech spec rundowns, along with release dates, price points, etc.

However I don't see Li-Ning straying far from the Bounse and Cushion techs...which is fine by me. That $150 price point is also good in my book!
 
I'm going to reserve my final opinion on these until we can get better pictures and see the different color waves. However for now I'm not really feeling these, this may be an opportunity to add some more 1's & 2's to my collection though !!!!
 
I dig that about Li-Ning listening on concerns. While I am sure they won't address every single thing everyone talks about, as long as they address big picture shoe issues that effect everyone and not just little onesy twosy complaints, then it should be a fine experience. Two things I would like to see addressed are ventilation and a less rigid tongue. Those two things seemed to have gotten addressed on the Encore 2.5's (at least cosmetically with the ventilation holes in the toebox and reports that the tongue was softer) and hopefully make their way to the WoW 3s.
 
Too small of a brand and I know it wouldn't happen but I would love to see what they could/would offer for an id.

I don't know why, but I've been starting to become a fan of molded heel cups and just creative use of the heel which typically you want to be rigid anyway. But love the herringbone traction on the 3.0 as well as the decoupling of the forefoot and heel. Seems like Li-Ning really wants to put out a shoe that is gonna help out Dwyane in the twilight of his career. Being a Wade fan naturally drew me to his shoes and to Li-Ning and would love to see him have another performance beast of a shoe.

Why out of all things would they do a shoe inspired from the show Dexter? Whats the connection? its weird that this would also be the first color wave seen (1st with actually good photos.

Most likely because of Dexter being based out of Miami?
 
@Zero23 yea but still a lot of shows are based in Miami why make a shoe specifically from that show?
