No wade is of a priority to me anymore. Definitely none of the 3s. I still want gray boys and the lemon drips...but 3s aren't selling so there will eventually be a discount.

Said it to some guys the other day...Wade 4s better be better than these 3s or we might start seeing a real decline from that brand. Going down hill right now IMO.

100% after the 2 it just seemed like they were trying to stretch too far too soon. People, IMO, jumped in here because they 1-2 was harder to obtain, and once distribution eased up and they were available here it lost some of the exclusivity to those people. Combine that with the heat falling off and you have product sitting, mind you 90+% of other shoes besides retros do sit, but most people dont want to think about that on NT. And once you have that I'll cop on discount stigma on a shoe it's only a matter of time before they just sit and rot. Hell I'm guilty of it now at this point. I wanted the Vet day 2 for well over a year but I for sure wasnt spending over 100 for it. I finally caved at 90 shipped from SS

I bought a 3 solely because Wade is my favorite player not because I liked the design. The 1 was a classic looking silhouette to me, and while I liked the 2 it hasn't been able to recapture that magic. Hopefully it does next year and does it for the heat. It it will be a 1 and done for me like this year.

I have quite a few 3's (305, VD 1 + 2, Screw, Grey Boy, YOTS, BlackBeard, College, AS1, Daz Fuego. BHM), but I have a lot more 2.0's than that. The only 2.0's I passed on GR wise were the Overtown and Announcement, and I have several samples. I just think the 3.0's have been mishandled, as I've said before. Releases have been double released or not staggered at all, back to back weeks, so really only a Jordan Retro would sell out with that release strategy. Most LeBron and Kobe CW's are sitting this year or going to discount, so the fact all non limited CW's are still around may be a sign of the overall market, but it's not helped by poor marketing, weak CW's, and a relentless release schedule for the last few weeks (many of which are just OK CW's).

Anyway, would still like to see a few of those pairs from IG available, but right now I also wouldn't care if we just moved on to the 4.0.

I agree on many points, especially the release schedule. LeBron, Kobe, and KD stuff is READILY available and well below discount. If, and it's a BIG if Li-Ning decided to push the US marketing a little bit and strategize the release schedule a bit. More product would move. I have 5 pairs of 3's. I really like the shape, fit, and comfort. But as you and I discussed earlier in the thread, it seems like the CW's are not as awesome as the 2's or 1's.

Hoping the 4 improves on some of these points.

Look at the KD 8. Just came out, and already on discount. Nike knows the "4th of July" isn't going to sell well

Never thought I would say this, but I think i'm burnt out on the WOW 3's. I was offered a few samples, including the white stingwade, which I would have instacopped 3-4 weeks ago, but now i'm not sure if their worth the price. Maybe its due to having 5 pairs already or there being TONS of colorways releasing. Either way I think it might be time to try and find older models/team shoes. I am a huge fan of the 808's.
 
I need those White stingwades, TNS3, and Birthdays for the 3.0's in a size 9. The fact that they don't drop the nicer sample pairs and only drop mediocre colorways has really turned me off to the Way of Wade brand in general. There are so many sample pairs and such, it's a shame that we never get a chance at them unless we want to pay $$$. 
 
^^^Yeah, there are a lot of samples that show up on IG that are way better than half of the colorways that actually release. Even a very limited release of certain pairs would be nice.

All back to that bad marketing issue, just lack of understanding of the American sneaker collector/consumer.

As I've said numerous times, lots of stuff on IG I'd cop, and next up we are getting the craptastic mesh pack.

I might be done as well.
