I don't understand how people could still camp in the cold for multiple days for a pair of shoes... they don't make you that cool. I've found with the few campouts I've done (short ones) most people in line are corny annoying hypebeasts who think they know everything.

Can anyone comment on the responsiveness of the zoom in the elite version? Is it noticeable? I'm really back and forth on which 8 to pick up. Not a fan of the lunarlon in the LJXI, am a huge fan of the flight plate zoom in the xx8 and xx8 se and generally zoom in general but was not impressed with the 6's responsiveness and the 7 was complete trash IMO

I have all 3 inserts types for kobe 8,  lunarlon , nike + (zoom heel)  and nike elite zoom heel and forefoot

The elite zoom is good.  its responsive and should hold up for a long time.  Also the elite zoom insole is a lil thicker, so you are slightly higher off the ground,  but not by much.  honestly its not that much of a difference in responsiveness compared to lunarlon,  the only real down fall of lunarlon is that it doesn't last that long,  but performance wise is to me is similar and both work well. 

keep in mind , I really liked the kobe 6 model and felt it was very responsive and comfortable.  I am with you on the 7, just not a very a good shoe.

In the midsole I am pretty sure (no removable insert).  I've read phylon midsole which should mean its encased

Where do y'all live that your Champs gets Kobe's? My local champs never has any Kobe's unfortunately so it's raffle or online for me. My only options. Those SS are dope I like the unique design, yea they're odd but isn't that why we wear sneakers, to be unique and for the style? At least they're something different! Just my opinion tho!

I live in Florida, and as for cities i've seen and copped Kobe's from a Champs store in Orlando, Tallahassee, and Tampa at various times. 

As always, i'm enjoying the fact that so many people are disliking  the SS pair. All that means to me is that they'll be that much easier to cop.

Problem is you have people like me that want to wear the shoe and have the shoe versus those hypebeasts camping for days, which results in them making about $9.16/per hour based on reselling the shoes for $800 and being stuck camping for 72 hours. No the problem is you have several people can cop multiples on the computer or have connections at store to get multiples and resell within a minutes and still resell for 800. The people camping I have no problem with. They usually want to wear or are only getting 1 pair. IMO of course

I was thinkin the same thing...They look like there's plenty of pairs out there especially @ the HoH's alone and a few Nike stores are gettin them, so I'mma most def try to cop a pair now

i will NEVER stand in line for a pair of shoes. my thoughts on every shoe release, no matter how bad i want them is  ill get up at 5am and try my luck on NDC and if i don't get them oh well.

The 8s lunarlon comfort and responsiveness does not compare to that of the Lebrons or xx8s. The zoom bags in the elite 8s does compare though. 

I only hoop in the 8s and I have found my heels to hurt after playing on several occasions, even with brand new lunarlon.

i get the same problem. the lunar in flyknit feel more cushioned. they feel good in kobe but after playing i feel a soreness
