Without BP they will probably lose a game they have no business losing (looking at Tulsa, ultimate trap game).

What are yalls expectations for TCU in the Big 12?

With the players we have lost I would say 9-3 or 8-4 would be deemed a successful season. Anything worse than 7-5 will be a disappointment in my opinion. The TCU offense can be one of the most potent in the country this season, no homer. Im worried about the defense, more importantly the secondary though. The first 7 games arent too bad, but the last 5 are going to be very tough. I think TCU loses to West Virginia and OU. I think they lose at least one other but not sure, maybe OK State. I think they beat Texas. We will see though.

I will agree with what I read a while back, this is probably the wors year for TCU to be in a "rebuild" season now that they are now in one of the big conferences. More so in the defensive side. This is probably Patterson's weakest team since like what 2007? And I really like their team and it speaks to how good they have been over the years.

That being they can start 7-0 but my gawd at the rest of that schedule with 3 of em on the road. :wow:

They can definitely win 8 games & 9 would be awesome.

USC gets back to the 'chip this year

:x For real? ducks by 20?
In the coliseum ?
Damn , that'd make me hella-wrong

yeah, there is absolutely no way Oregon can compete with USC in the coliseum.

they have never and will never beat them by alot there. :smokin

I cant believe hpw bad they blew their chance to be Great vs Iowa State last year :smh:

Speaking of Iowa St, I feel like Ohio State got a steal in oc Tom Herman. It's going to be great not being able to correctly call Ohio States offense 90% of the time.

Did Chester hack your account? ...

@ Coliseum

2006 USC 35 - Oregon 10
2008 USC 44 - Oregon 10
2010 USC 32 - Oregon 53

Not going to make excuses for 2010, Oregon pulled away in the 3rd quarter. **** happens, can Oregon win, no doubt... 20 points? Pump the brakes.

I'll put money on that!

Nope.

I use my own sight and common sense to look at things instead of letting media hype stir me into a frenzy and just suspend disbelief and dive into USC beating everybody by 40. a lot of skill and a lot of questions , especially lack of depth.

there isnt a team in america who dosnt get hit with injuries during the year lets see how USC adapts.

USC wont finish the season undefeated and I totally believe Oregon is going to run them into the ground in their own home as they did the last time they played em there.

Only fools buy hype, and it's sold and bought in bunches.

I think the hype is coming more from message boards, because media pundits... both print and tv still point out the "buts" and "if's".

Lack of depth has definitely been overblown the past couple of weeks, not many teams go a legit two-deep. Now the two-deep we have is with talented kids with minimal game experience. They will run before they can crawl but it's a long way 'til November

I get the concerns on the USC side of the ball, what makes you so high on Oregon?

Pros:

Breaking in a new QB
Not deep at RB due to transfers/departures
Alliotti is still defensive coordinator

Cons:

Experience at Receiver and OLine
Experienced at LB'er
Solid DT in Hart

Will SC run the table? I certainly hope so. Can they lose a game or two? I can foresee that too.

Not sold on Oregon this year, so to say they will stomp us in the Coliseum, just don't see it. I'll bet on it too. Won't even ask for the points you are talking about, straight up.

It's not necessarily about the players on the two deep and whether teams have a legit two deep (talent wise), it's the amount of snaps the the DL is going to have to log all year. You need players to be able to steal, let's say 200 snaps a year for the big men in the trenches and there are legit concerns on whether that can be done and have the replacements play at a high level. That's ignoring the injury bit

ATP I haven't gotten to USC in my Phil Steele mag so I'm not sure exactly what the prospective DC is looking like and I could be totally off base w/ re: the DL

I myself like Oregon this year because their schedule is very manageable & while the team may not be as overall as talented at the 11 team sometimes a workable with a very good team schedule can lead to a great deal of wins.

Me personally barring a total brain fart of a game I don't think Oregon will lose a game this year.

anyone watch ESPNU's All Access on Ohio State camp? always good stuff...
I'm watching my recording right now and I'm definitely enjoying it but I am on the other hand yearning for the day that a HBO Hard Knocks crew descends upon a campus for 4 episodes worth of content that depicts what preseason preparation is like at a major D1 college football program. Maybe that day will never come but a guy can dream. I swear it would be far better than covering an NFL team because of the turnover, spring practice and everything and everyone surrounding one of the iconic programs.

CBS Sports Network ran a mini-series on SMU last year. It wasn't quite Hard Knocks but it had some good content.

Interested to see what Borges does with the offense this year... They made Denard stay in the pocket and learn to throw all day without scrambling... Hope he learned something because he was actually worse throwing on the run than set and in the pocket.... Thomas Rawls better be ready... I want that bowling ball to punish some defenses.

Can we beat USC in their house? of course...I think our game with yall will be interesting this year...but with common sense, and barring any major injurys/losses for either team, we know the Pac 12 title game will be USC/Oregon..and thats the game that counts. if we loose the game during the season so be it. I want the second game in Dec. now that game in 2010 was :smokin haha i was following it on my phone while on a bus to the airport to head to afghanistan haha. I'll always remember that game.
