JE said Klemm put the fullcourt press on him to shut down his recruiting and he still took the visit to Arkansas, so they yanked it. Urban would've taken his commitment.
edit - I'm chalking that one up to Pittman and Bielema being able to put tons of linemen in the league.

Miami isnt making millions off of your average journalism student. They sell the likeness of players in video games and sell their jerseys in the bookstore.
I've always wondered this, like do football players for programs like miami, bama, etc get meals whenever they want?

ANYWAY...
I don't know about most other schools but Clemson doesn't have specific housing for athletes though they're usually in a couple areas but most of the on-campus housing is nothing special. Most people move off campus after Freshman year...but look at OU's new 4 Star Hotel for athletes (51% students though). Place is incredible:

[COLOR=#red]Not gonna say any names or locations to protect the innocent and with the Internet these days word spreads fast. This is a Div 1 program that has put more than its share of pro in both NFL and NBA.
But I definitely for sure know that some programs have a unofficial arrangement to where you can eat at area restaurants for free. I know this because even as an affiliate of the program I was able to eat free at these places. I'm talking full on meals no money no tips. As a matter of fact we had a sushi joint that we could even take our chicks to eat at free. Crazy as this sounds we had an almost unlimited supply of Ensures
almost everybody in the program fridges would be full of Ensures, which we used as meal replacements many times.[/COLOR]

struggle compared to the football team pulling up in 300's and range rovers ...

Didn't see too many struggling at OSU. Did see a couple that blew it all in the worst ways, when I lived in Worthington.

Dudes are not struggling as many say they are. They just spend their money like you would expect a 18-22 year old with disposable income. Most of these guys IG's have weekly pics of sneaker pickups and then comment about "struggling".
