They'll make a run at a BCS game and then he'll leave after this year... If it gets to that point without falling apart, they'll be fine. Someone will emerge from the group of Matt Davis, Kenny Hill and Kyle Allen. Then Kyler Murray in 2015.
 
I know Manziel doesn't always make the greatest decisions, but this constant witch hunt is getting absurd.
 
ive always said it , i dont think these should get paid directly from the schools

He was in an apartment full of people when he did the signings. Depends on who cooperates with the investigation.
 
won't stop the ncaa from suspending him anyway.  this isn't a court of law.  they do whatever they want.

if they want to show they've still got authority over players and programs they'll do it and puff out their chest.  the appearance on impropriety could be enough.

Pullin for Manziel this season to put up mass numbers.

Hopefully he doesn't fudge up and by that I mean get suspended or do something stupid. He'll be fine but just needs to get on the field sober and ready to ball out
 
Manziel needs to dump that Nathan Fitch loser. That kid seems to be in the middle of every single bad piece of news that comes out. Certainly he can find a better assistant.

How about not having an assistant at all. He plays football and goes to school. Hell, he doesnt even go to class, he takes online classes. He doesnt need an assistant to begin with.
 
:lol: I was just coming back to edit that into my post. Why the hell do you even need an assistant as a college football player? There are full-time staffers within the athletic department who are trained to handle media requests and things of the sort.

Good to see you're back in time for the season though, Trelvis. Think TCU can take the Big 12 this year? (I know this might could come off as sarcastic, but it's not meant to be.)

ncaa is indentured servitude, bascially

i'm sure it's been covered many times over, but something needs to change drastically because they have way too much power and control over individuals' lives

it's completely ridiculous and outrageous how the ncaa sets itself up as the sole beneficiary of an athlete's work

the college athlete deserves to not only benefit monetarily, but have more control over their own "brand"

i can't support college sports as long as this goes on

They have a decent chance. It will come down to Pachall and the offensive line. If Pachall keeps his head on straight I think they can be good. Obviously the defense is solid. They have a nice group of RB's and WR's but if Boykin has to take over again for whatever reason, I dont have high hopes. I like Boykin but he doesnt have the accuracy. Watch out for Waymon James though. He is a solid RB who got hurt early in the season last year.

They have a solid team I will say that. They should be able to finish top 3 in the Big 12 at least.

Let me ask yall this.

Im not for schools paying players, but I do believe players should be able to do commercials and autograph signings on the side independent from the school. What do yall think? Should payers be paid? Should they be able to do side stuff? Should it be a free for all? Whats yalls opinions?

I know its been talked about before, but I feel like its relevant right now.
 
Beat Oklahoma in Norman and TCU should win it..

Pachall, Aaron Green, solid group of receivers... Patterson always fields a competent D... That's enough to win that conference right now.
