2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

The Ole Miss/Vandy game was nuts! Jordan Matthews is a problem. Too bad he didn't come through on that last drop though.

I took Clowney's rating down to 97 on NCAA '14

-Quan Treadwell looked like baby Dez Bryant
-Nkemdiche looked versatile in his first game, can't wait until he learns techniques besides the bull rush
-SMH @ UNC's defense....can't deny Butch Davis knew how to evaluate the hell out of defensive talent
- Chill with the Clowney overreactions....still the most dominant force in CFB
- Yikes @ USC's offense
- James Franklin will be USC's coach next year...haha

Matthews didn't get concussed. He was throwing up bc he got hit in gut after taking in all this fluids from cramping up. Stop listening to Matt millen.

How did 5 look versatile? He lined up wide and bull rushed every down? Where's the versatility?

Ppl gonna respect that Randy Edsall was.doing up at Uconn

How bad was Dri hurt? Didn't get to see a ny of that game

They had Nkem playing inside a couple times in their odd front

@JHopkins247: Per @Realdawg247 - #Washington has suspended Austin Seferian-Jenkins for the opener against Boise State.

Derek Carr threw the ball 75 times last night  :wow: only 8 behind the record held by Drew Brees

Versatile in how Ole Miss utilized him, 3tech, 5tech, 7 tech DE, and wide 9...oh and also the run on the fake punt

Lol Clowney killed the post game presser.

He better stop skipping practices as faking like he hurt tho lmao

Clowney doesn't stand a chance, every play last night was over analyzed and Jessie Paelmer would not shut up every time he was off the field. Seen it too many times before when heisman talk is associated with defensive players, hell dating back to Simeon Rice when he was it Illinois or Big Daddy Wilkinson at OSU

I thought maybe Pollack would put up more up a fight for him (being a fellow DE and all) but even he was piling on. Though he was not quite as bad as Palmer.

Lmao Jesse Palmer/David Pollack and then Matt Millen. Last night was not the time to have those 3 idiots showcase opening night for college football

Matt Millen is horrible he said some dumb **** last night. he always does especially re: late game / time management situations. He's worse than Les Miles  :smh:

Last night he said that Vandy had a good drop (on their last drive) because if the RB bought the ball he'd be in the middle of the field & the clock would keep running.

Nevermind the fact that:

1.) Had the RB caught the ball he would have gotten a 1st down and the clock would have stopped
2.) .......Vandy still had 2 timeouts

Never change Matt Millen. :pimp:

SB Nation needs a TV network man...smh

ESPN od'd on the Clowney coverage....ish was ridiculous...even when SC was on offense, all they spoke about was Clowney, zooming in on everything he did, having every replay focused on him......Will probably be worse for Manziel on Saturday...smh

Versatility is showing diverse skills not lining up inside Or outside shoulder on defensive line. That's like saying a RB is versatile bc he lined up in the I, split back, shotgun and pistol.

5 is on track to be great but he was far from
versatile. He was one dimensional basic last nite and that's expected from a young DL.

Coach Kiffen has got to show 5 some counters and get him to use his hands and pick a shoulder.

He could be dominant in no time

I had visions of a young Suh when watching #5, I have confirmed this is what he is to be called, last night. Crazy the dude is only 18 and has that kind of size and strength.
