2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

This will be a big test for our O-line. I think our defense will keep them from scoring too many points but it's just going to come down to Gardner making plays I think. I didn't think our run game against CMU was super dominant. It was improved from last year but that's not saying much. Devin, Gallon, and maybe Funchess gets some big plays/TD. And get Norfleet the ball!
 
Pretty sure morris hit coley in his hands twice for two touch downs and dropped both. And I'm also pretty sire golden pulled the starters out in the 3rd quarter and pulled duke out with about 9 min left in the third. And there was a touchdown not reviewed by Gus Edwards that was obviously a touchdown a 4th and goal but y'all right our receivers and offense is average after watching for less then 3 Quarters
 
I get y'all talking about the starters being pulled as a reason why you scored only a certain amount of points but why mention one of your receivers not catching possible TD passes? He's on the team, right? Isn't it his job to catch the ball and unless he does, you don't score?

That's like being a VT fan and saying, "Well if Logan Thomas could read a defense we would win more games." Until ( :lol: ) he does, y'all won't.
Take that 5am...I'll never forget you making fun of my QB's weight. He had a thyroid issue!

I let him slide cause it was his first college game and he said he was nervous. Idk what these dudes expected for golden to let everybody stay out there and score 50+? Why do that I'm pretty sure they didn't even flip past that first page in the playbook. They put up and easy 34 with draws and sweeps and quick passes out to the receivers and got out out of the game.

I've already seen 3 poster use "breaks".

By using "breaks" are you referencing the brake pedal?

It's such a pet peeve of mine and want to make sure :smh:

I'm 100% certain it is brakes but I feel I'm missing something

I'm not making excuses but golden doesn't run up scores...he follows that paterno mold...


And the game Saturday is a toss up but I'm leaning more on Florida because of their defense....can't really see it being a high scoring game...who knows tho
 
My comment was more of a general thing when someone says we would've scored if...and the reason is because a player didn't execute. Silly.

Seriously though, I'm pulling for Miami on Saturday. ACC! ACC!
