Good idea by Danny Kannell...

He was saying how these FCS games are jokes (and they are) when they play FBS teams. His solution, have them come in and be the spring game opponent. Pay them the same amount. I kinda like the idea. I had no clue that there was a running clock involved in one of the games b/c of the blowout happening, and also how a 4th quarter was cut down to 12 minutes. That's embarrassing.

Random - but if you're the Savannah State head coach, what's your pep talk yesterday?
 
The Savannah state coach said Miami was a good match up for them cause Miami is an elusive team and aren't smash mouth.
 
Thought my 3 year old was seeping during the game but now I am not so sure... She woke us up at 1am telling us she puked in her bed... Must have been thinking about the Michigan team these past 2 weeks... Great start to my bday and entering my 30's.

They are jokes and hopefully with the new system coming, we see less and less of these. In basketball, playing a weak OOC schedule can hurt you come Selection Sunday. We see it all the time. There is no pep talk if you're the Savannah State coach. What can you say? Its a demoralizing loss that confirms your players have no ability to play on the FBS level and it was worth it to the university for the game check which will take care of their athletic budget.

I'm well aware of AM11's record against top-10 teams. Murray's still a better Q than Mettenberger. Home game in Athens. Pound Gurley to wear down LSU's defense.

It's stupid to discredit AM11's victory against South Carolina. He rebounded well from the Clemson loss, may have turned a corner.
 
AM11 would have two wins in big games this year if it wasn't for the refs. :nerd:

Nothing's stopping the Dawgs from winning another Championship (SEC East)
