Yea the scheme isn't conventional, but I think placing the blame there is more of a cop out than it is the problem. Aside from the OLB's running themselves out of the play and not containing the edge, the front 7 have been getting better every game. The secondary has been FOOD and have shown 0 progression and poor fundamentals. (Coach Lakatos 

) Even Damian Swann out there looking like a lunchable with his attempts to tackle using only his shoulder. 

 Safetys constantly out of position makes it even worse...1st and 2nd down we do well, but 3rd down is a whole other story..(we call it 3rd and Grantham

)..those 3rd down conversions can absolutely be blamed on CTG and his poor 3rd down play calling/substitutions. (Floyd and Ramik in coverage

) The defense has to play as a unit, right now everyone seems to be trying to make a play instead of doing it within their assignment. jmo
