I hope that SOB CTG simplify his defensive plays...sick of dude and his complicated ****...this ain't the NFL **** head
Yea the scheme isn't conventional, but I think placing the blame there is more of a cop out than it is the problem. Aside from the OLB's running themselves out of the play and not containing the edge, the front 7 have been getting better every game. The secondary has been FOOD and have shown 0 progression and poor fundamentals. (Coach Lakatos

) Even Damian Swann out there looking like a lunchable with his attempts to tackle using only his shoulder.

Safetys constantly out of position makes it even worse...1st and 2nd down we do well, but 3rd down is a whole other story..(we call it 3rd and Grantham
laugh.gif
)..those 3rd down conversions can absolutely be blamed on CTG and his poor 3rd down play calling/substitutions. (Floyd and Ramik in coverage
sick.gif
) The defense has to play as a unit, right now everyone seems to be trying to make a play instead of doing it within their assignment. jmo

Quotes from post game of USC/Zona fame:

“No disrespect to the coaches who were here before, and I don’t want to get into that, but you want a coach that you would go to war for every time,” said Kessler. “And this man right here to my right (Orgeron) -- and I don’t only speak for myself -- I speak for the whole team, we would go to war for this guy any day of the week. Anytime he needs us, we have his back. When you have a coach you can not only see but feel that he cares about you so much and he wants you to be the best you can be and succeed, that’s love right there. That’s awesome. I couldn’t ask for a better head coach right now. I know all of us, we’d go to war and put our life on the line for this guy any day of the week.”

Kessler's words were echoed by many other Trojan players in the hours after the game. LB Hayes Pullard said "we love Coach O like a dad."

Devonte Freeman is a nice surprise... he's clearly distanced himself from the rest of our backs.... And I really though JWJ would be the RB1 this year.
