2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

It makes no sense for them to get the Death Penalty. It made no sense for the NCAA to have any business with this. And even they themselves are realizing it now. That's why we had our scholarships restored.

At the end of the day we're still a fantastic school. People hate on a university when they don't even have a school to show allegiance to...

Honestly, I felt the program shouldnt have been punished at all. No bowl bans, etc. The law should have handled sandusky, people involved, etc. Not a fan of making the kids suffer when they didnt do a damn thing

Thank you. Yes, let the law handle it. It was a CRIMINAL matter.

Oregon just rolled up 631 yards on the 10th best defense in CFB...WITHOUT De'Anthony Thomas and with Lyerla leaving the program this week...

This isn't the Daron Thomas led Ducks that lost to LSU and Auburn...he didn't even sniff the NFL...they have a real deal, Top 5 pick at QB right now...Mariota is the reason the Manziel went to Texas A&M...

This year has exposure the myth of the strong SEC Defense (word to Bob Stoops)...Oregon vs Bama is what every wants to see...

JM

And that's no diss to Oregon....always liked watching them since the Joey Harrington days and the rb that got kicked outta Tennessee

Remember before the season started and I was saying that even if Ohio state goes undefeated they still might not make the title game cause of there schedule you most of y'all called me.crazy saying if they go undefeated they'll be in cause there Ohio state. Now look at y'all

I'd rather see Baylor thrash Oregon than an Oregon vs Bama matchup (which won't happen btw

Mariota is the reason the Manziel went to Texas A&M...
 That is 100% complete made up ******** ...

Nevermind the fact Johnny was better as a freshman and is playing every bit as well as Mariota this year... Arguably the best/most electric HS quarterback in the state of Texas in the last decade was scared away from Oregon by some three-star from Hawaii he had probably never seen even take a snap... OK. The second Johnny got an offer from A&M or Texas at QB he was gone. It was that way from the second he ever committed to Oregon.

They're both studs. Why do you have to make up **** to justify one over the other?

So what happened wasn't Lack of Institutional Control?

Start a different thread if you wanna talk about scandals and don't clutter this one

Chester knew what he was doing when he started this up

At this point I don't even care.

Dudes have been hating on Penn State for no reason long before the scandal.

Not much you can do. Haters gonna hate.

The best thing to happen to penn state wad Joe pa being removed and then passing away.

It kind of put a period on the scandal.

I think if Joe was still alive there would still be a stench and the ncaa wouldnt have any leniency.
