They can't wear them in the NFL? I thought I've seen some this year. But isn't cause they have to be able to see your eyes to see if after a hit your out of it or not that's why they don't let you wear them?

FSU is #3 in Vegas' power numbers, so it's not surprising from that standpoint. Opened at -3, still @ -3 with lots of $ coming in on Clemson
I was definitely suprised personally when it came out, I expected it to be Clemson -1, -2 somewhere around there.

I'm not really surprised. Our OL is really suspect and unsettled, injuries and guys just not performing. At RT we've got a guy who can pass block but doesn't hold up in the running game and his alternate who's just the opposite. Our sack total isn't terrible because Tajh has done a really good job escaping sacks & pressure. He's been picking up yards with his feet or just throwing the ball away most of the time but he will force some throws. I think FSU can take advantage of this.
Home field advantage should help us out especially with it being an 8pm game, the atmosphere just goes to another level for night games. Funny seeing the quotes from Jameis about how playing HS football in Alabama has prepared him for it.
I guess we'll see on Saturday if he's human or Christ. Our DL has been really good so far and Beastley went from a guy w/o a position trying out LB & TE to a legit pass rusher at or near the top of the lead for sacks.FSU hasn't played anyone but they've looked great doing it. Clemson hasn't really either but has held up pretty well. I'd love to see a repeat of the 1st game of the season.
Also, I don't know how many of y'all watching the whole feature on our intro and running down the hill before kickoff of the UGA game. I realize that it means a lot more to me as an alumnus but I thought it was pretty incredible and the word is the ABC/ESPN are gonna try to make it even better.

I think it's funny though. Of course dude isn't gonna be like, "Yeah I know the crowd is gonna affect me" but it's a lot of times after the game, win or lose you hear so many quotes about how it did impact them...and that's at most big, loud stadium. He's obviously never been in anything like it and regardless of how FSU's calls work, it can most definitely make things more difficult. Bringing up his school and how he said something about, "We had big crowds, like 10k" kinda gives you an idea that even as good as he is he's still new at this.
I've been down on our field during a couple games that weren't even out of control and it was ridiculous, all of the sound is directed there and it's way different than being in the stands. Certain moments I'd have to yell to talk to a friend that was right next to me. I think the fact that you're below the hill and that completely closes the East end zone in helps that.

Nah, I meant that I knew it was going to happen because ppl would take that part & not mention the rest of the quotes where he talked about environments like NC State last year (I think he mentioned Pitt too). The whole 8k-10k thing in Alabama wasnt the whole thing, that was from when a reporter asked him if he played in an big games in HS ( then be said that was nothing like Clemson will be)
It just makes for a better headline & story, gotta get those clicks & web page hits

No, I watched the press conference. Yeah I referenced that quote because of the nature of it but I was saying how throughout the interview he was acting like it's nothing, it won't matter because of how they relay the plays. And I'm sorry, it's one thing to be watching from the sidelines with 55k and another to be in the game with 85k.
Anyway, let's talk about uniforms instead.
Oh great...here's Jesse Palmer talking about how Stephen Morris's arm is elite and how it's as good as anyone in the country. Not a knock on Morris or his arm but this dude and his gross exaggerations, so ******g annoying. Every single game there's a player that's the fastest, strongest, makes NFL throws, reads defenses better than anyone and on and on.
