2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Well now we are looking at Stanford

They spoiled are BCS title game last year this year we should come in with a Chip on our shoulders and handle business

I have a feeling Miami keeps getting over looked but because if the rivalry and the BCS implications they might show up more then expected

I just wanna see a good game

Do you go to Miami games?

None of that BS matters to loyal fans that wait nearly 9 months to see their team play. The beach ain't going anywhere...Da Heatz are still in Preseason...Clubs don't pop til nightfall. USC is a private institution with plenty of distractions around, yet their fans seem to make their way to the games every week even tho they suck. Schools send damn near more fans on the road than yall put in your own damn stadium jack. Your fans are fairweather and they SUCK, deal with it.

Yup. Their fans make every week even though they suck. Oh and it's their most recent game

notice how there are no players on the field, or even on the sideline...

edit: oh and that wasn't our most recent game, that was boston college game... sept 14th

When I'm in town and not booked to spin at a pool party that conflicts, I absolutely make it to UM games.

I also went to every single UM home game when I was a student at The U.

USC also is nearly triple the size of UM. They have an total enrollment of nearly 40,000 students where we have a total of 15,000, which is huge for us considering a few years ago we were under 10,000 total.

When you only have 15,000 students total, how anyone expects us to fill a stadium that with a 75,000 capacity is baffling.

people dont seem to get this

along with the fact its in Miami for crying out

come down here and the last thing on your mind would be a hurricane game

only way to solve this is to build a smaller stadium near campus that seats any where from 50,000 - 60,000

rename it the new orange bowl

make sure you bring some guys in and build the stadium around the fact you want the loudest stadium possible

boom there you have it

if FAU, UCF, and FIU can do it im sure Miami can do it

start goin to BCS games n return to The U of old and watch it come to life

Do like Syracuse and Oregon did, build an arena that holds about 50k. You don't need a stadium that holds 75-100k. Only a few schools in the country are capable of that week in and out.

Only problem is IDK where they would put the stadium.

They keep saying tropical park, but I actually never see that happening. No way in hell it fits on the UM campus and the city of Coral gables is not letting that happen ever.

There is space available in other parts but UM is going to need public money and no resident of dade county is going to want to pay for another stadium after the Miami officials were bamboozled into building one for the Marlins.

I'm out here paying for Marlins park and I dont give a damn about the Marlins or for the sport of baseball.

If just building a stadium were that easy then it would've been done.

 This isn't a new issue.

Heat games dont even sell out the way they should

Miami is hands down the worst sports city

There will never be a stadium built on campus in Miami. Coral gables is an upper middle class area and they will not stand for it nor approve tin local votes or zoning.
This has been sstated repeatedly.. It will not change.

4* DE Dwayne Hendrix committed to the Vols. :nthat:

Bunch going public after another Loss lol

I just hope he starts Dobbs at QB from here on out

Repeated so many times yet nobody seems to understand it.

People still think Miami is such a hardcore sports town.

Been here my whole life and you got guys telling us how easy it is to build a stadium or complaining to us about our fans like we don't know what the hell is going on.

Those rich folks in Coral Gables not going to allow a stadium to be built there so all the middle and low-income folks from the inner city can invade their pretty suburbs.

The stadium isn't so much the issue. They just don't want all of the inner city Canes fans coming there for games. If Miami had the fanbase of say....Penn State...a bunch of middle class white people...there'd be a stadium in Coral Gables.

Traffic is bad enough on Dixie Dr as it is :x

Just read an interesting comparison... Brady Hoke and Ed Orgeron... Both DL guys... Players "love" them,,, Great recruiters... How good are they as head coaches??? Time will tell... Still high on Hoke and hopefully his recruits will start to pan out next year... Still trying to make due with RRs guys.
