2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Even the mascot said F it

That kid Gafney prolly got IV's in each arm and each leg. 43 carries or somethin close. :smh: unreal effort.

I think some fans were taunting DAT and he was goin back and forth at em. He kept lookin at the crowd. That's how I saw it.

Just ended? there was like 6 minutes left and as you saw the game clearly wasn't over. And why are National titles hope over? If florida St. and Stanford lose they are right back into it

I dunno. After that bad showing I doubt voters put them in. It would literally take a Christmas miracle for that to happen.

Like Alabama's terrible performance against lsu in 2011. Oregon lost to the #5 team. If Florida St. and Stanford loses than Oregon would be back at 2 IMO, especially if UCLA wins out

Ohio St and Baylor still ahead of you too tho.

No big 12 title game will hurt baylor IMO
I think the computers will boost oregon ahead of Ohio St. if UCLA wins out
Crazier stuff has happened, but its still a long long long long long shot. I know

My beef tonight isn't so much with the offense (it is in the sense that they can't turn the ball over in the redzone) but more so with the defense. The offense probably gets rolling earlier and at least gives them a chance if the defense could get Stanford off the field, but had absolutely zero success with that. I think they had ONE drive in which they stopped them and that was the first drive.
No sir, you alluded to it earlier... you have to know your opponent... Stanford is a squad that wants to bang it out.

Everybody in the country knew Oregon's possessions would be limited going into this game aka points would come at a premium, I don't have an issue with going for it once, but twice in the red zone? Nawwww, it wasn't a secret in order for you guys to win you needed to get up and make Stanford start passing an pick-up the tempo a tad bit, but instead the ball coach decided to be stubborn without a plan B which in-turn hung your defense out to dry early an often.

Can't wait till Stanford comes down to the Coliseum next week

I do not anticipate that type of game plan working on our front 7 at all

our O line though, worries me at times

We match up with Stanford well, don't think we are deep enough though. Not holding my breath, due to injury issues.

2 biggest plays of the game IMO:

The D'eanthony fumble

and Hogan breaking those 3 tackles on like 3rd&6 with 6 mins left in the 1st half. They drained the whole clock after that

Yep, because it caused them to go down early, allowing stanford to run the power game the rest of the way.

you cannot play from behind against a team like that, especially when you can't stop the run to save your life
