2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

@ZachAbolverdi: Per @Frank_Frangie, Will Muschamp spoke to Noel Mazzone about #UF job. He will stay at UCLA, but Muschamp is in fact converting to spread O.

Well I guess now we know for sure Malzahn to Texas will never happen.

Gus Malzahn to Texas, remember I said it.
That talk has been out there since Sunday lol

Barners think it's a ploy for a raise

I don't think Manziel is leaving anymore.

Whether he was injured or not, he wasn't his normal self for basically the whole second half of the season. His mechanics even broke down towards the end of season. From the UTEP game on, he was missing WRs that he would normally have no problem hitting. It was pretty shocking to me how his accuracy and willingness to stay in the pocket faded as the season progressed.  None of this will bode well for his draft stock. I'm a huge Manziel supporter, but if he were to step on to an NFL field next season, he wouldn't even have a chance to succeed. He would be much better served coming back to college for another year of seasoning.

Manziel ain't coming back, this is as high as his stock gets.

If he comes back another year, his game gets picked apart and overanalyzed even more

He would have to sign it before he visits, or else it would be a NCAA violation

Isn't he announcing after the championship game? Would make me feel good if I were a UM fan.
Dre buttering us up just to get let down.

I've seen whispers his mom is sick and he may be trying to come back closer to home.

Bralon Addison has been vocal about Marcus' decision to stay and it's been nothing but posetivity. I don't think Bralon is going anywhere.

Glad to have Marcus back though :pimp: He's got a really high ceiling and will do well when he reaches the next level. He promised his mom he'd get his degree, combining that with the fact that he obviously wasn't playing great ball down the stretch and knows he can get better. He's a smart kid and I don't think he took it lightly when he said to himself that he needed to improve as a QB. I admire his decision and am obviously excited to have him back

Gurley against D'anfrio's defense? ****

Murray won't play and he'll "stack" the box with 6 guys and 2 deep safeties. :smh:

Bama Commit Bo Scarborough Was @ FSU's practice today for the 2nd time....visited during the Syracuse game also

Unfortunately my intuition says Sparty upsets my Buckeyes. Defense led by Bullough and Dennard. If/when they stop the run (Hyde and Brax), Brax will be forced to win with his arm against one of the best corners in the country.

Roby has been food this season, hate to say it.

I just wonder about Sparty's offense. If they can put up enough points.

I'm also picking Mizzou. Auburn letdown after the emotional rivalry upset over top ranked Bama.

DGB: Player of the Game.
