2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

I hope I see the day that this conference pride bull**** dies out.

Is this directed at me? I have family and homies that are on Auburn and Bama for that matter (I'll never root for the Tide tho). Seeing my home state running CFB is dope cause it literally is everything there, there's nothing to else to do.

You and every other person who wants to claim a title that your school didn't bring home. Might as well root for a conference/league/division in the pro's too.

Well congrats to MSU. First thing is Luke Fickell (our defensive coordinator) needs to be FIRED after the season.

Biggest question I have is why on 4th and 1 do you run some stupid play to the outside (short side of the field) when Hyde is gashing them up the middle all night?

Oh well, good luck to auburn and fsu

I was very surprised to not see it go to Hyde. i cant think of why they would run that play they ran.

Alabama still runs CFB I don't see how that's debatable.

Really excited to watch MSU vs Stanford, that game will be one of the best BCS games in the recent years.

Opening line FSU -7. Did Vegas not watch that pathetic Tiger defense today? Though for sure FSU would be a double digit favorite like they have been all year against that cupcake schedule. Above all conference pride, fam and whatever, I want to see Free Shoes University get knocked off this pedestal their currently
perched on.

It's actually -10 @ offshore books...

And if you feel Vegas is wrong then take advantage of it

Auburn wins, that's five straight for the state of Alabama and Auburn will have one the last one by beating the 2 time defending champs en route to it. 100% sure the Tigers will have bragging rights at that point. It's what have you done for me lately.

Putting a bill on AU

People are seriously underestimating FSU's defense. I want Auburn to DESTROY them more than anything this bowl season but I'm really worried that FSU is talented enough on both sides of the ball to win it all.

Yeah man I don't get it at all. While watching it I said "please just go right up the middle", that was the whole turning point. Oh well it's over now, Auburn and Fsu looked great tonight so that'll be a good one to see

*Makes several irrational statements to try to downplay the strength of a conference because the one their team plays in is inferior*

*When their motives are questioned and a fan of a team in said conference presents facts for the dominance of that conference the opposers cry 'conference pride'*

I just don't understand why these fans off these mediocre SEC programs like to even discuss this topic.

Are we though?I respect the athletes FSU has, but really outside of Clemson, who have they played that's offense is spectacular or even average. Auburn but 3 hunna on Bama and I still think they have the best D and team in the country. Should be interesting, Auburn is hotter than hot right now.
