2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

Ehhh.... in '06 Florida wasn't the best team in the country (arguably.)  in 2011 Alabama shouldn't have been in that game...
That's just an opinion. Fact is that an SEC team has held up the crystal ball since 06.
Mm hmm.

And there being an SEC bias never has anything to do with that.  It's all off merit.

Always.

Mm hmm.

LOL I could give two ***** about the SEC.

They have just dominated the sport for 7 straight years. Period.
I'm bored and have entirely too much time on my hands, so...

SEC records vs other Power Conferences in that span of time:

ACC:  24-14

AAC/Big East:  14-16

B1G: 16-11

Big XII: 18-9

Pac12: 11-6

Mountain West: 3-3

(Number of wins vs these conferences that Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and LSU account for)

ACC: 18

AAC/Big East: 5

B1G: 9

Big XII: 7

Pac12: 7

Mountain West: 1

Since 2006, two 1-loss teams from the other BCS conferences have played in the NCG: Ohio State and Oklahoma.

In that same span of time 6 teams from the SEC have played in the title game after losing in-season.  One of those teams, the 2011 Crimson tide didn't even play for their conference championship, and the 2007 LSU had TWO losses including to a 4-loss unranked Arkansas team AT HOME.

The SEC is great sure, but kinda top heavy.  And can you say you dominate when every season there's debate over whether a 1-2 loss SEC team should play in the championship JUST because, really based off nothing, when every other conference has to win out?
