2013 College Football Thread (Realer than Real Deal Holyfield -->S/O Craftsy)

I really hope we keep Clancy P too, I know the defense had a couple really bad games (ASU/UCLA) but we're much improved overall and he's only been here a year. If some of these juniors come back watch out.

RBs have been really good under tommie robinson as well, but idk if we have much room left

Not so much that he lied, but that he made a promise to them and then let his feelings and pride get in the way and turned around and walked out.

Everyone understands why he did it, he was upset and emotional, but he spent weeks making claims and promises to recruits and players then let them down because he was disappointed and angry.

Dudes feel like he said he'd stand with them no matter what and then let his feelings get in the way.  They still want him back though.

Serra QB Jalen Greene to SC.  I only started paying attention to recruiting so I don't know much about him, but SC boards are flipping out and furious with Sark for the offer.  They seem to think he sucks?

A lot of posters are speculating it's to help lock down Adoree though.

Others are saying it's because Wittek is going to transfer and Sark wants to keep 4 scholarship QBs.  I doubt Max transfers though.  It wouldn't make much sense for him, because he'd have to sit anyway and would end up having one year of eligibility and an unsure future left wherever he went.  It'd make much more sense to graduate and then enroll elsewhere and play immediately a la Russellmania.

LA people how good is Greene?

I think they see him as a project at wr. Farmer is done, need that Serra pipeline to continue at wr. And wittek, can probably take that Aaron corp route and play ball at immediately at Eastern washington or another fcs school.

why do you think Farmer is done? I know he's had a tough time with injuries but I think next year he could finally do his thing, dude is a physical beast

that acl/mcl injury is going to be tough to come back from especially a guy who relies on his speed and has questionable work ethic. agholor and rodgers are way in front of him now, and you also got mitchell coming back with a less severe injury. Haven't seen what Blackwell really can do. 
 
Don't see why people are clamoring for Clancy Pendergast to stay. Defense was solid against inferior opponents, but it was picked apart by solid teams/good coaches. Vast improvement over last years defense, but not shedding a tear because he isn't being retained.

Getting Greene has to be a chess move, only justification at this point.

Don't think Farmer is done, but he is definitely buried at the moment. He was the Serra boy with the most hype, almost seemed like he expected things to be handed to him, then Lee blew past him.

Don't understand why Bailey is leaving but he's dealt with a lot of turmoil and turnover so maybe doesn't want to stick around with a new staff and new defensive philosophy. Great move, moving him to safety again, his natural position. He's going to be a solid pro, maybe not a star, but someone that will stick around for awhile.

That's the word, They're getting a transfer from Bama too. Fluker didn't play this season because he had 2 seizures (1 of them lasting 10 mins long). He feels he could play, staff wouldn't clear him because they couldn't figure out what caused the seizures so he left. Fluker says he was just dehydrated, but nahhh....

LeMay was passed on the depth chart by a walk-on.

Wouldn't surprise me if JHC has to sit the first 3 games next year as well being this is his 2nd suspension, our strict policy and Tramel Terry's move to Safety. One more suspension and JHC is out.

*patiently waits for off-season weed suspensions to be announced*
