Never been a DC before and wasn't the RC at FSU.
But he is a great recruiter and a great DE coach. Very bright, he devised the game plan for the GT game. His ability as a DC will be mitigated by the fact that Stoops will likely be running the show. Will give him time to mature

-Bowl games are pitiful as usual, no decent BCS Bowl games outside of the title game and I can see that one being a blowout. Oregon vs. KState can be decent, but better matchups will continue to elude everyone.

It's called tradition and it's something that has been lacking as of late in college football due to the money grab. When the BCS came to be, the Rose Bowl, Pac 12 and B1G were the only ones to put their collective foot down. No offense to TCU, but seeing them in the Rose Bowl (Non-Title Game) a couple years ago...
