Why not? Basketball shoes are meant to be worn and used for basketball. Besides if people can wear jordan 3 and 4 how is Jordan 2 any different? He probably gets customized inserts or something else like that

I just happen to find the Retro IIs to not be put together all that well. The support and cushioning in the IIs isn't what I prefer, but I guess if you had custom insoles they could be fine.
