Which is probably why he is wearing the 2012 and not some outdated retro sneaker with technology from 20 years ago. A football player would not wear a helmet or pads from 1990 so why would a basketball player wear shoes from then? 

As nice as those retro J's look on court I would wear hyperdunks, hyperfuse or any other new Nike, Adidas, Reebok or even Li-Ning shoe over those outdated pairs of retro's. It's not their job to have the best looking shoes it's in their best interest to have the best performing. I think a lot of you guys tend to mix those two things up.
 
Dunno how people ball in retros.

What did Rondo's kicks look like? You sure they were KDs?

Ha! So I was right at first after all. *re-edits post* Thanks for the pics, guys. I was trying to look for some too.

Rondo has been wearing a lot of shoes with yellow in them lately (Huarache's in the ECF, yellow Free Runs during Media Day and now these).

DeRozen is rocking out with those Jays. Two things I could never do, ball in low cut sneakers,and REALLY ball in retros. I just to do runs in my low-cut 8s, but I would play completely different.
 
Im loving the Nets colors, but they could have done better wit the design. And Stackhouse needs to retire imo.

I feel as if Brooklyn could of went a whole different direction with the colors and design. Its just plain and boring. Raiders ? Naw the Spurs are have a more Raiders feel with the silver. Brooklyn is black/white. MEH !

Anyway those KDs look pretty good ! I think I'll support those this year
